Hub by Premier Inn London Shoreditch Hotel

We had booked back in January a bigger room for the weekend. Upon arrival in the afternoon it was rather busy at the desk. We got a basement room. We double-checked we had understood properly and the person at the desk confirmed it was a basement room we had. We wrongly assumed that was the only room available since we had the bigger room and had booked months ago. The room was very well thought but was in the basement and had no window. We were in a bit of a rush and the desk was busy whenever we went so couldn't ask. When checking out we asked the manager and discovered that we should've been given a room with views since full weekend and bigger room have priority. We will certainly not go back, we booked a bigger room not a cupboard. We were asked to email and provide feedback which we did. We've not heard back.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay here. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by kind and professional staff. The room was small but had everything we needed for the short amount of time we spent there. It felt clean and safe. We also were in a nice area and had a lot within walking distance, including stores, restaurants and attractions. We would definitely return.

Full marks all round. Comfy bed, zero noise, good shower, everything super clean. Tasty breakfast. Jenny lovely, really helpful and efficient . Will be back. Only small negative is immediate location though Shoreditch itself is vibrant.

Was my first time stating at this particular Premier Inn Hub, having used Hubs in the past and been very impressed, I was disappointed with this stay. The room located in the basement had issues with the AC and Shower, on the first night the AC stopped working, meaning the room got very warm and stuffy, leading to a poor nights sleep. When I went to get a shower, there were two options, scalding one and scalding two! I reported this to reception first thing, along with requesting a towel change, when I returned 8 hours later, the used towels had not been replaced, the AC still not working and the shower thermostat also still broken. I went back to reception and the staff member was apologetic, gave me some fresh towels and said that the AC would be reset centrally and someone would come to look at the shower. The shower was fixed, but the AC started to blast heat out, so I had to go back again to get this looked at, it did go back to cold, but it must have tripped the electrics in the room, as at one point all the lights went off, and the AC then went back to a trickle. This led to another warm, stuffy and uncomfortable night. I did request to change rooms at one point, but was told this was not possible due to the hotel being fully booked. This won't stop me using Hubs again in future, as I hope it is a one off, but unlikely to come back to the Shoreditch venue.

My mum and I came to London for our first time and had booked a room on a site. When we arrived at the destination we were told was unfortunately a scam. So, we ended up in this hotel where they helped us, fed us, and then afterwards we decided to stay here. We found our room very clean and spacious. All the hotel staff were attentive and made us feel at home. In particular, Nicky was a real angel! Nicky there should be more people like you! We absolutely recommend this place, where there is a metro stop 5 minutes away among other things, but above all for the special people who work there!

Lovely hotel in a great area! Everything was clean and tidy and the breakfast was lovely! The room was great and an excellent price. The staff were superb and a special mention to theatre loving Jenny who offered magnificent customer service and was a joy to talk to!

We stayed a total of 11 nights in the hotel. The rooms were very clean and bright. Loved the bed and the shower water pressure was strong. Breakfast was good too.The staff Bruna, Artin, Jenny and Nicky were all very helpful and cheerful and made our stay a pleasant and memorable experience. Thanks to all of you. Cheers. Highly recommended to stay in this hotel.

This was the perfect stay for a trip to Shoreditch ,the room, the staff the breakfast meeting room all fantastic , comfort, cleanliness all very good! Totally enjoyed our stay ! Will be back !
