I personally did not like the way this property handles having guests. During our stay, the showed up announced twice (probably more while we were out). The first time they came into the apartment and started knocking on the bedroom door while I was asleep. Keep in mind that I just had an overnight flight, have been awake 24 hours and just traveled 22 of those hours. So I was excited about the sliver of sleep I was able to get, just to be rudely awaken to strangers in the apartment that I paid for because they needed to take “measurements” of the room? I’m not sure what you could possibly need measurements for while you have paying guests in your establishment. The second time they came in announced and I’m assuming fixed the smoke alarm that was broken on the table when we arrived. So that wasn’t a huge issue. However it is illegal to enter while you have guests without proper notice. At least I’m the US. Another thing is, they don’t allow any visitors. This isn’t told to you until a few days before your stay. So if you have more than 2 people traveling with you; forget having them meet up with you before any outing. The whole process to check in is a nightmare. They want you to upload your passports to a site that doesn’t even have their hotel name on it. (They allowed us to email them which is still sketchy.) then you pay a pretty large deposit. Other than that the area was perfect and walkable. Lots of options. Apt was pretty spacious. - bare minimum tho.

Checkin was tricky as per all StayInn properties. You have multiple steps to go through; ID, deposit and then keys and numbers. The apartment is comfortable with all the appliances needed. There was an unexpected viewing for the property one evening, which is unfair on the potential buyer and the renter. Which was not communicated at all, otherwise it would have worked. Overall it was good with areas to improve.

Very Good

Good location near Farringdon station. I got quick responses to questions on email and checkin/checkout instructions were clear. Improvements could be that the window cover in the bedroom should have blackout blinds and that hand soap should be provided in the bathroom.

DO NOT BOOK THIS APARTMENT. We booked a month before our arrival and the owner immediately proved to be unsociable when we asked her for the address and some information about check-in and the apartment. After many messages, she informs us that she would have given us the address a day before our arrival and so it was, but only after a thousand calls and messages on Booking and WhatsApp. Upon our arrival at the scheduled time the day before, no one was at the address indicated or answered the phone, appointment at 2 pm she answered us at 4 pm telling us that our reservation was not confirmed and rudely telling us to stop calling her. I still have the confirmed reservation and left us without apartment 6 people, the lady scams people DO NOT BOOK!!!!! Rude incompetent and scammer, *********** should cancel this establishment it's a disgrace.

I didn't stay because they wouldn't let me know. I called twice on the night I was meant to be staying (19th July), only to find out via a call to Stay Inn's emergency staff that I had to submit my ID and a £500 deposit to access the apartment. This information was not sent to me in my confirmation email, and I had no details as to how I was meant to do this. I, initially, quite frustratedly said I would cancel because it was 40 degrees outside and I was stood outside the apartment with no way to access and no details as to how to. I went to sit at a pub to try to sort the details, and again found an email with no information. I called back and got a VERY rude woman who immediately was hostile toward me. I asked repeatedly to whom do I send this information and she actually hung up on me. It was 8pm and 40 degrees C with nowhere to stay for the night and no information. I ended up booking elsewhere quite far away as there was no other accommodation available in the vicinity.

I booked to stay at the Farringdon Inn Wednesday 29th July. I made my way across to the Apartment after work and when l got outside the building called the company requesting access. They told me l had to send across proof of ID. I immediately emailed my drivers license. Then l called back and they said l had to pay £250 deposit before l could enter. I tried on my credit card twice and it was declined. I called the company back and said l am stood outside and can l please get into the apartment. The person l was speaking to then asked that l do a bank transfer of £500. I said l am confused why so much? They hung the phone up on me. I phoned back and said l want access to the apartment, please let me in. They said you need to pay £500 deposit and then hung the phone up. I tried to call back and l had no answer. I had to then book another hotel. I have since found out that they have charged me £221.85 for the accommodation - even though they know l couldn't stay over and they will not refund the money eventhough they know l tried to transfer the 1st £250. I have called *********** and they said they can’t do anything. I feel scammed by Stay Inn and scammed by ***********. This is a scam service and shouldn’t even be on the *********** website. I am disgusted and will keep pursuing and my Visa card are on the case. Please do not stay here. You will lose your money. The staff are rude and will hand the phone up. This is a 100% SCAM!!!!

Awful policy wanting £500 deposit 7 days in advance and return 7 days after your stay, this is to allow their security to check video footage to see if you had any guests in your room. Their staff are the rudest people you will ever encounter. I was told they could not speak to me directly because I booked with *********** so therefore I was not the client and their contract is with *********** and had no right to speak to them. There are lots of choices you can make with an establishment that will treat you courteously but this is not one of them, do not book Stay Inn, keep away from this organisation.

*********** shoul be ashamed to have this booking. They ask for a £500 deposit via bank transfer so you have no protections. It above a pub and a headache to cheque in. And they would not refund you if would want to pay the deposit via card. And they are very rude

Fantastic appartment! Loved the decor, cleanliness and where it was situated. We walked everywhere from there. It lacked a little on the cooking equipment but had just enough to get by. And i couldnt work out the conducting hob. Other than that, it was perfect. Check in was easy. I would have like the check out time to be a little later. Just make sure you check your spam for the emails asking for the deposit. I phoned Stay Inn apartments as i didnt think I'd recieved it and they were very helpful and answered straight away. Dont forget to send a picture of your ID a couple of days before. I would love to stay again
