We book this hotel due to the fact it is close to train station, it was a layover. The room is small with no fan or aircon, heater doesnt work and the toilet is on the mezzanine floor. Super tight and narrow stairs. Cleanliness was okay, bed is comfy.

Basic, great for the price and especially the location, short walk from KGX, clean, quiet, and for anyone on a budget, nothing to complain about. Also, loads of eateries round the corner.

When you travel on a budget this is the type of place you stay. Good location as it is close to the museum and Piccadilly but it is old and kind of depressing. I would spend the extra money and get the private bathroom as it is worth it.

Avoid this hotel!!! The reception man was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable, make sure your are aware that you need to pay a £10 deposit for the key to your room, which they didn't make clear. The radiator didn't work in the room, no quilt just a fleece throw! Holes in doors and on the walls. The shower scolded my parnter Do not recommend for anyone it should be a no star hote😡😡😡

The Indian reception ask £10 fee for himself,which is not the tips! The room is not a quite one, the only good thing is the location of the hotel.

very good for me and my family

A very old British wooden building, the stairs are very narrow, the rooms are old, but relatively clean. Close to King's Cross Station, only a 10-minute walk away. Only suitable for travelers who are on business and don't have much luggage. Not suitable for Hong Kong people. 

The room is relatively small. I chose a private bathroom. The room is dark and no toiletries are provided. Remember to bring 10-pound notes. This is a hidden fee and must be paid to the front desk. If you don't bring any, you can go to a nearby convenience store to exchange them. Overall, I am quite satisfied and it meets my expectations.

Good, excellent service

I booked this on ******* and when I arrived the pics which were on he website do not match the hotel .It is conveniently located for walking to St Pancreas and Euston station.The hotel itself should not be called a hotel ,It is dirty ,old and rundown the toilet and bath can’t fit anyone bigger than 4 stone..The sockets look like a fire waiting to happen..The rooms look like cockroaches live in every corner.Also a £10 fe is requested on checking in for the key,this was not mentioned.This place need to be shut done.The manager on duty was nice to let me in early because it was raining and there was no place to drop off suitcase.Even if you only need a place to rest ur head to get to the airport early there are better options near by which are roughly in the same price range this place is horrible .

The rooms are small. However, we were down for a night to watch theatre and is in great location (Russell Square tube) and we were barely there so it didn’t matter. The bathroom again is small but it is all we required. Only negative there was no mirror in the room to help get ready etc.

No real reception, old and uncomfortable bed (& uneven). They don't come in and clean regularly. They don't have bathmats, hand towels etc.

there are no attached washrooms (Ensuites). We had go to ground floor to use washrooms and also the washroom condition was not good.

I didn’t see on the advertisement that the property has no storage space for luggage as I arrived early and needed storage space for luggage space whilst waiting for check in. Closest storage facility is opposite King Cross St Pancreas station £5 for a day. The person advised that no storage was stated on the advertisement. Overall great location and price.
