People who put bad reviews, really?
You have what you pay for. It’s very very cheap for London so the room is totally ok for this price.
I needed it for some hours sleep before trip from Kings Kross station which is in 7 minutes from hotel

It was quite far from the Eurostar station esp having to drag our luggages along uneven pavements. The hotel is more like a guesthouse and does not come with lifts i.e: you will have to carry your suitcases up flights of steps. Rooms were quite small and basic and the reception informed to always keep the bathroom door closed due to a highly sensitive smoke alarm system that is triggered due to hot showers. Once triggered the penalty is GBP100. Breakfast was basic.

Needed a place to stay over due to the train strikes. House of Toby was available and reasonable. Location to St. Pancras is good. The downside is our front facing room had all the road noise and lots of it. Room was small but adequate. Bed comfy, shower superb, tea and coffee facilities fine. Continental breakfast very good indeed. All staff were friendly, helpful and obliging. Recommend for anyone on a budget.

A small hotel run by an Indian, it’s okay, just make do with two nights in London, after all, the price of a serious hotel in London is sky-high,

Location good for Kings Cross. Place was nice enough but the room was super small. Had less than a foot either side of the bed. Room was clean and tidy though.

Was in G05 right next to the air handling units and the construction work. No chance of any sleep. If I was told prior to booking I’d have gone to the Point A hotel on the corner. Other rooms may be ok. But the ground floor ones out the back….don’t waste your money!

Checkin on Friday night was swift, no mention of breakfast. We were directed to go out the back door to the courtyard to find our rooms in a separate annex next to the loud air conditioning units, not great but manageable. We were awoken by the construction on the site the other side of the bedroom wall, the jackhammer was less than 2 meters away and recorded 107db on my phone (if we worked there we’d have to be given noise defenders). No mention of this construction was made at checkin or anywhere around the hotel. At checkout no apology was given.
If you know this is going to happen advise it on your hotel bookings, let customers know in checkin and in their rooms so they can make an informed decision!
