Was very happy with this hotel as a base for using Gatwick Airport, a significant saving on airport hotels. The trains from the nearby railway station (5 minutes walk) are very frequent and only a short ride away. It scores top marks fir cleanliness, id give the bed 12 out of 10 because 11 isn't enough! Super clean and comfy, the hard part was to leave it to catch my early morning flight. My stay was probably enhanced by being given the chance to upgrade my room to a superior double for only £5 (not sure why that was) but I would fully expect the standard rooms to be of an equally very decent standard. Only downer was the breakfast, the cooked element I can't call it hot as it wasn't but such is life with buffet breakfasts that sit out on display, you maybe have to be just lucky with that when a fresh batch is laid out. But I would definitely stay here again should the need arise, I would say very good value for money.

Amazing location, amazing service. It was my birthday and the room was decorated beautifully with complimentary drink and chocolate. Could not have asked for more. The only negative was the room was extremely hot which made is very uncomfortable to sleep. On the second night spoke to front desk and they advised to turn all air con/heating off and brought us a fan up so the second night slept like a baby in very comfortable beds. The pool area was beautiful but u fortunately we ran out of time but when we have another stay at the beautiful hotel we will certainly visit it.
Booked this because we had an almost 12 hour overlay in London. The hotel is close to Heathrow Terminal 3. Staff was nice, but gave too much explanation, we only wanted to check in and go to sleep because we only had around 5 hours till we needed to wake up and go to the airport again. If we had any questions, we'd just ask. No need for staff to offer so much info, or ask us if we wanted to eat at the restaurant (even at such a late night hour). The room was ok, but not the kind we would stay in for several days. It looked like it needed some renovation. All in all, we'd book again if we absolutely needed it for a night and nothing else cheaper was available. The price seemed way over for the value or quality. But this is London.
The hotel room is so big comparing to other hotels I've been to, everything is nice HOWEVER, it is super far from the city. Although the hotel is only 6minute from the train station, it takes more than an hour to travel from the hotel to the city. The train station is called Watford junction, and it is located in zone 8. Which as we just knew at the moment when we arrived, it is super expensive to travel around especially when we are living in zone 8. It cost around $8 to go to a station in the city, and it still cost you $3-4 to travel around, and everything need to times 2 as you need to head back to the hotel. So the price of the traveling per day per person is more than $20. Which you may use that money to go to a hotel nearer the city. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who have a car, but if you don't and if you are broke just like us, then don't.
The staff at this hotel were without exception, superb. Helpful, accommodating and friendly in all the departments.
Location is excellent with a great bus service practically outside the doors or it’s a pleasant 15/20 mins walk to Covent Garden, Soho, etc.
Only criticisms are regarding the rooms which are a bit too warm overnight with no way of regulating the system, and have very poor lighting.
