Longji West Window Moon Homestay (Jiulong Wuhu Observation Deck)

Mama and I had such a great experience here on our 3-day (2-night) trip to the 龙脊 rice terraces. Cannot recommend these guys enough! They were so friendly from the start and service was AMAZING.  We got quite lucky with our room. We were able to catch the sunrise every morning coming over the “back of the dragon”. Location was great too, being not too far from the 九龙五虎 and 七星半月 observation decks. Aside from the view, the place was clean with the usual amenities. Their home-cooked Guilin specialty meals also made for great dinner. Almost everything was home grown and locally sourced, and oh so tasty!  They were also great with our check-out and send-off, helping us organise a car/driver to our next stop (Yangshou) and a little farewell token that read “ 一生平安” which translates to “a lifetime of peace and safety”. We even picked up some of their monk fruit (羅漢果) and passion fruit (百香果) before we left! Thank you for making us feel so welcome 西窗月! Highly recommend booking with them! ☺️👌🏼

Amazing hotel, the view is magnificent, the rooms are very nice and clean, and the staff are lovely and very helpful.

absolutely lovely place to stay! the owners were extremely accommodating, friendly, and good cooks to boot. the stay overlooks the ping'an terraces and is close to two observation decks. the room was spacious and very clean and comfortable (although the mattress on the bunk beds were too hard) its quite high up and there's a lot of steps to climb. pro tip: bring duffel bags or anything else that isn't a heavy luggage bag, as the climb up/down with those is a tough one

We booked two rooms at this hotel, and both were absolutely beautiful. The direct view of the rice fields is stunning and indescribable. It was one of the most wonderful stays I have ever experienced. The tranquility and beautiful landscape offer everything you need to relax. The staff is incredibly nice and friendly, and they are also exceptionally good cooks. We ate at the hotel every evening—simply delicious. It's a wonderful place that I can wholeheartedly recommend to everyone.

A driver picked me up from yangshuo and helped me carry my big luggage up the hill. The homestay owner was very nice and made the best chow mein I had on my entire China trip. The location is perfect as it is close to both viewing platforms. I really enjoyed sitting in the lobby and enjoying the atmosphere. The power was out til 9pm the day I was there but I survived. It was a nice place to stay.
