Fengyuan Hotel (Longji Terraced Field Scenic Area Branch)

The parking lot is not far from the guesthouse. The staff warmly helped us with our luggage. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were patient and attentive. The balcony was spacious and offered great views. I recommend setting an alarm to wake up and watch the sunrise to instantly set a good mood for your trip. Breakfast was the local specialty, Guilin rice noodles, the only option, and it was very authentically Guilin – a big thumbs up! It's only about a 10-minute walk to the No. 2 Rice Terrace viewing platform's thousand-step staircase. Along the way, you can hear babbling brooks, hear birds chirping, and see lush rice paddies – it's very pleasant. If it weren't for the fact that the road into the mountains is over 10 kilometers long and took more than an hour, I would have given Longji a 90 out of 100. After all, the roads are narrow and winding, and there are even more vehicles on weekends, making driving extremely tiring and potentially unsafe. But this place and this guesthouse are definitely worth recommending.

The location is a bit hard to find; it's a new hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the bathtub in the room was quite nice. If the location were better, you could see more scenery. The cleanliness was good, and it had a smart toilet, but it lacked a refrigerator. The room had a projector.
