Far from the city, the environment is quiet and peaceful. All three meals relied on the hotel restaurant.

This secluded mountain retreat is a perfect place to escape the world and unwind. It's undeveloped and almost deserted by tourists. Sitting at the doorway, basking in the sun and sipping tea is so pleasant. My sister-in-law is an excellent cook, and we even helped out by working together, warming ourselves by the fire, and eating – it felt just like visiting relatives! It was so warm and comforting. I definitely want to stay longer sometime! The rooms also feature a blend of modern and traditional design, preserving the unique wooden structure of the Zhuang ethnic group – very nice.

A record of a happy weekend with my dog in Mahai Village. The mountain roads in Mahai Village are a bit rugged, but they are wide enough that passing other cars is not a problem; just drive slowly. There is a convenient parking platform below the guesthouse. We arrived on Saturday noon, had lunch at the guesthouse, rested for a while, and then went to a nearby small viewing platform to overlook the terraced fields. We strolled around the area, had dinner, and rested—a very pleasant day. The next day, after breakfast, we drove to the Half-Mountain Bookstore, about a 10-minute drive. We followed the signs along the path in the middle of the terraced fields, taking a leisurely walk, and then returned home, spending a perfect weekend. The food at the guesthouse was delicious, and the passion fruit was very sweet. I hope to be able to drink the owner's coffee next year when I go back.

Environment: The guesthouse is located at the highest point in Mahai Village, offering panoramic views of the village's terraced fields. Enjoying dinner overlooking the fields is a truly breathtaking experience. The guesthouse's interior design is meticulous; the rooms were all designed by the young lady herself, incorporating local stilted house features with a modern, rustic wood style. Every detail shows great care. Service: The designer was incredibly kind and helpful, offering us their homegrown passion fruit and providing a photo service – very thoughtful. They also offer a special breakfast, and dinner features delicious homemade dishes – fantastic!

No, Haima Village is so much better than Jinkeng! I never expected to find such a guesthouse on a mountaintop! The water is spring water, the shower water is incredibly hot, the air is undeniably fresh, and it's eerily quiet at night. There are only a few households, the owner is super nice, it really feels like going back to my hometown. Overlooking the terraced fields, you can even watch the sunrise in the morning 🌅 It's amazing! It's only a 10-minute drive to Tianzhai Terraces and other attractions. The best part is, there's no entrance fee! Who needs a bicycle?

It was so pleasant and comfortable here, a real treat to steal a moment of peace. The mountain breeze was refreshing, and I even got to try the local passion fruit – so fragrant, sweet, and tangy! The owners and their family were incredibly warm and friendly. The little village was peaceful and tranquil, yet full of life – a perfect place for a relaxing vacation. The old houses weren't very soundproof, but that's to be expected with wooden buildings, so it was acceptable. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience.

Located at the highest point in the village, the host contacted us in advance to send our location and ask if we needed to reserve dinner; the service was excellent. The place was very clean and hygienic. The view from the guesthouse was also quite pleasant.
