The room had a great view of the vast rice paddies, which was incredibly beautiful. Most importantly, there was a path leading directly into the rice paddies for taking lovely photos (please be careful not to trample the rice!). From what I've observed, other guesthouses don't offer such close-up views; you don't need to travel all the way to the mountaintop for a proper view. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great this time, which was a bit of a disappointment.
I thought the owner's cooking was quite delicious (people from Guangdong and Hainan generally find it very tasty, but my friend from Hunan thought it was terrible, haha).
The downside was that no one saw me off when I left. I got lost and walked for a long time before finally reaching the parking lot, almost missing my bus. The room facilities were a bit old, but overall it was clean.
If you want to get up close to the rice paddies, this is probably the best guesthouse. Otherwise, there's an extra 5 yuan charge for taking photos in the rice paddies.
