Great hotel by the rice fields. Very easy to reach by the sightseeing bus. Easily walkable to through multiple paths in the rice fields. Lovely authentic room design and very helpful hosts. We also had our dinner here and the food was great. Try specialities cooked in bamboo and ask for the chili flakes hot sauce.

We had an amazing stay, the view was spectacular and the staff were extremely hospitable. On our last day we had trouble getting to the neighbouring town (Dazhai) to sightsee, however the hotel staff were able to help us out, drove us there, and then even back to Guilin City to our next accommodation! The hotel also serves food, so breakfast and dinner were no problem. The food was delicious and authentic, made with local ingredients. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family to stay here on their next trip.

It has a beautiful and unique spot in the area. You only need to walk 3 min, and you are in the middle of the rice fields. So beautiful. Rooms are like in the pictures, very traditional style. The only thing I could critisize is that inside the hotel it's a bit cold and that they need to check with guest if they prefer western/ Chinese breackfast options, so they can choose and not assume and just prepare it based in if they are Chinese or not. The lady at the entrance was kind and very helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Valley View! The staff is very warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was large and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. Ping’an Village is about a 30-minute walk from Valley View, a walk that allows you to walk down steps amongst rice terraces. We enjoyed each meal, breakfast, lunch and dinner at Valley View. And the dogs are sweet and wonderful, too!
