Yunxi Shang Viewing Homestay (Longji Terraces Thousand-Floor Sky Ladder Observation Deck)

The location is right at the entrance of the village, so seniors don't have to walk too far. It also has a swimming pool, which the kids practically lived in all day. It was relaxing, the weather was cool, much better than Guizhou.

Great breakfast, and the owner's family provides excellent service. I'll definitely come back again.

This hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering a view of a small terraced field from the room. While it doesn't offer the breathtaking, expansive terrace views you'd get from a mountaintop, I think the location is quite good. It's not far from Observation Deck No. 1, just a 10-minute walk, so there's no need to worry about steep climbs if you're not a confident driver. The owner and their family are very welcoming; they called to guide us to free parking even before we arrived, and after we settled in, they took us to see the terraced field light show. The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, with two spacious tatami beds. We arrived late (after 7 PM), so we missed out on the rice paddy fishing. The kids only got to play briefly in the hotel's outdoor pool, which had very clean water but was a bit chilly at night, so they couldn't stay in long. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the hotel!

Our room had a lovely view of small terraced fields, and it was super close to two viewing platforms. The bamboo chicken and rice were absolutely delicious, tasting so fresh and homemade.

The room was quite spacious, but I'm not a big fan of the round bed. We weren't expecting super luxurious amenities in the village anyway. It was raining when we arrived, and the room felt very damp. It would have been much more comfortable if they had dehumidified it before our check-in. The owner is a great cook, and the restaurant serves delicious food. The price for the car service back to Guilin was also very reasonable.
