Would definitely return to this wonderful hotel. It’s a short walk up the hill but well worth the stunning views from the floor ceiling glass windows in your room. Just amazing and we loved everything about it! There’s a lovely public balcony with rocking chairs, tables and chairs, eating and relaxing as well as your room. Do ask them to collect you from the carpark as it’s quite a walk with bags to Da Zhai village. Da Zhai is peaceful and beautiful. We did a four hour hike to another village and the views from there were amazing. so so well worth taking the cable car up to golden Budda viewpoint and spending some time up there. We spent three nights and that was perfect!

I went there on May Day. The room was quite clean. It was on the mountainside with nice views. The first floor was the dining area. The owner cooked local farm meals. There was an observation deck and people were setting off fireworks. The mossy paths were also unique. After a night of heavy rain, the terraces were filled with water. The scenery was unique. The owner also arranged a trip to the Golden Summit. Thumbs up
