We stayed at this hotel for two nights. Beautiful room with breathtaking terrace views as pictured, though the small area below with the moon structure and artificial turf did distract a tiny bit from the view. The room was clean and had a washing machine. The elevator music of Kenny G was a vibe. Breakfast was included and was a simple fare of noodles, sweet potato, buns, eggs, corn, and watermelon. They also serve lunch and dinner. There is a rustic restaurant up the alley to the left of the hotel where there is good food and a sweet owner that we recommend.
Location-wise, it's a couple of minutes uphill to Viewpoint 1 and about 20 or so minutes walk downhill to Viewpoint 2 (part of it is walking on the main road with cars and scooters so be careful!). Up another road nearby is the start of the beautiful hike to Zhongliu Town and Ping an. This hotel is one of the last ones where the main road leads to so it was convenient in that way. I can imagine the other ones located further up the walking path will be difficult with luggage. A small matter for us, but maybe for those wanting to 100% relax, the room wasn't entirely sound proof so when shuttles would unload noisy tourists for viewpoint 1, you can hear them below or if you had noisy neighbors.
As for pick up, I contacted them via WeChat (search using their phone number) using the in app translator to let them know our estimated arrival time. After getting their acknowledgement, we had assumed someone would come pick us up from the Jinkeng Tiantouzhai parking lot.
However, there must have been some assumption on our part or miscommunication due to the language barrier but we had to ask the customer service center at the parking lot to help contact them when no one showed up. We were then provided a free ticket by the hotel to transport us from the parking lot via the shuttle bus to a shuttle drop off point about 10 minutes away from the parking lot. An employee from the hotel picked us up via car from the shuttle drop off - about a 5 minute drive to the hotel. Everyone at the parking lot center was really nice and helpful in getting us to the hotel. At check out, the hotel staff drove us to the shuttle pick up point again so we could take it back down to the parking lot. I would just suggest to the hotel to provide instructions regarding pick up, especially for foreigners.
All in all, a lovely place to stay with nice staff. Would recommend and we would stay again if we are in Longji.
