Wanhwa Crown Hotel

The location is excellent, right in the city center. From the high-rise, you can see Longjin Lake, People's Square, and more. The room is spacious, clean, and the facilities are decent. The front desk staff has a great attitude, and as a Trip.com member, I received a complimentary upgrade. The breakfast offers a rich variety. Overall, it's great value for money and highly recommended.

The cleaning was very sloppy. They probably just cleaned the blankets and pillows, changed the slippers, and put the trash in the garbage bag. They completely ignored the empty bottles, useless boxes, slipper bags, and other items on the table. They didn't even put the toothpaste in a cup, and the table wasn't cleaned. I don't understand what kind of housekeeping this is. Seriously, I'm speechless.

This is not the genuine Crown Hotel. The air conditioning in the room was not working and it couldn't be fixed even after one repair. Because it was so late, I could only make do with a fan for the night. When I woke up in the morning, there was no hot water. It was a very unpleasant experience. It's a fake five-star hotel and a fake Crown Hotel. Be careful before booking!

I have to give this hotel a big thumbs up! The location of the hotel is very advantageous. The lobby is also brilliant. The rooms are clean and tidy, and every detail is attentive. The service is impeccable. It gave me a warm feeling of going home. I will choose here again next time. The lady at the front desk is also very nice and has a good service attitude [strong]

I initially booked a super king-size bed, but the bed frame was incredibly hard. Having stayed in so many hotels, this was the first time I'd ever experienced sleeping on a wooden board. We switched to a standard double room, which was more comfortable, but the air conditioning wasn't cold, and the room had a slightly musty smell. There was no refrigerator, and some unexpected hidden charges that weren't clearly stated. The check-out process wasn't thorough, and they even charged me for water I bought myself. In short, despite being a five-star hotel, the service was only that of a three-star. (Poor coordination, and the staff lacked the friendliness expected of a five-star hotel.) This is my first negative review.

The room was large and the facilities were acceptable, but the service was mediocre, not as good as Atour or Ji Hotel. In several ways, it's unsuitable for business travelers. First, the breakfast: presumably to save a penny or two, the soup was served in a large pot and had no flavor; the yogurt was machine-made, lacking any sourness and almost watery, which is unhygienic. For this price, many hotels use genuine Yili yogurt served cup by cup. Second, the staff were unfriendly. At over 400 yuan a night, they didn't consider the customer experience, even skimping on breakfast, which indicates a very poor experience. A seriously negative review.

The room I booked cost 796 yuan, and the invoice issued at the front desk upon checkout also showed 796 yuan. However, when I checked the bill afterward, I found that 20 yuan had been overcharged. I checked the order on Ctrip and it said that an additional "miscellaneous fee" had been added. I really don't know what this is. Why wasn't I informed about it when I checked out? Are they desperate for money?
