Birmingham South (Rubery)

The staff on duty when we visited gave a very good service. They also found out it was my 80th birthday and left a gift and note which was a very nice gesture. Thank you for a very pleasant stay

Stayed over the weekend for 1 night. All as you would expect from a Premier Inn - no bells or whistles but a friendly welcome, large and clean room with very comfy beds. I've only knocked off a rating as the breakfast, although tasty, wasn't replenished quickly enough on the hot plate. I prefer the Premier Inns where your breakfast is cooked fresh to your liking, but I know that not all of their hotels do this and it isn't a huge issue.

I have used Premier inns for business for over 20 years, on this occasion the visit was a family event. I’ve rated this 5 stars not because the hotel is a 5star hotel but simply because the experience we had surpassed expectations. Starting with a courtesy call the week before to inform me the lifts were under construction and to see if there was anything specific I needed for our visit. The politeness & professionalism of the staff was excellent. We arrived late on the evening, the gentleman on reception offered to help me with my bags due to the lift not working. Our room had been decorated for the occasion which was a great personal touch and appreciated, thank you. We had a comfortable night and will visit again.

I'd like to firstly say that I stay in a lot of Premier inn’s around the country with my work , very rarely do I get offered with my luggage to the room. I thought that was a really nice gesture. I also have been staying at this particular premier Inn (Rubery) on several occasions and I cannot fault any of the staff. I’d like to mention Tanisha (Tee) on reception What a wonderful soul she is. Tee is so helpful, so kind, always smiling, always greeting people when they come in and leave so thank you very much😊. I also had a great reception from Chantelle, Thank you.☺️. Breakfast experience- I did have my usual (runny poached egg) now for people that eat runny poached eggs you know what they should be like! Dean the chef certainly knows how to cook runny poached eggs a long side a great breakfast. They were very busy a lot of the time and he seems to be very calm and no stress, so thank you! Not to mention Sam who is fantastic at her job very kind certainly made my day to see her first thing in the morning 😊. P.s. Also the cleaning staff. I don’t know any of their names, but they did a fantastic job as well thank you 😊

Excellent stay at this premier inn. There was a find the duck in the bedroom and the children then took it to reception for a prize. Also colouring sheets and crayons were provided. All the little touches considered to make it special for the children. Highly recommend a stay as close to Cadbury World also. Thank you!

Lovely hotel very clean and comfortable, very nice staff very helpfull Including T the supervisor, loved the Easter game in room for kids and welcome choclate lovely thank you highly recommend food was also lovely in restaurant, cadburys world not far highly recommended also

The staff were so friendly, they went above and beyond which really made our stay. They were so great with the kids, there were duck hunts, prizes and colouring and whenever we asked them anything they were just so lovely. I really can’t recommend this premier inn enough. We have stayed in a lot of them now and because of the staff this is by far our favourite. Also it is very well located for Cadbury’s World, Central Birmingham and also the motorway to get to places like Stratford-upon-Avon.

Helpful friendly staff who made our stay stress free and enjoyable. We were a party of four in two rooms and when contacting the hotel after booking the staff arranged adjacent rooms. During our stay the lift was being renovated and whenever we had luggage or shopping the staff on hand offered to help us carry this to the room if we wished.

Wonderfully warm welcome on arrival and friendly morning greetings - our boys were delighted by the treats after their long journey! The little duck hunt and colouring was another really special addition for them - thank you so much! The room itself was perfect for our family with twin beds for the kids next to our bed. Everything was exactly what we needed, with a lovely pub restaurant for evening refreshments and fab morning brekkie - and the friendly staff made such a difference - we'll definitely come back if we're travelling this way again! Super close to Cadbury World with lots of parking and easy access to the motorways!
