Rodeway Inn Near Melrose Ave Reviews

The hotel's location is excellent, and the room was tidy, clean, and in good condition; however, the service was problematic. When we arrived at night, the front desk representative didn't seem to know what he was doing. Additionally, a drunk homeless man was lying at the hotel entrance, making it impossible to enter the lobby. Regarding the couple traveling with us, the front desk clerk mistakenly charged a $1,000 security deposit instead of $100; we only discovered this two days later. The hotel was aware of the error but hadn't bothered to inform us. When we went to the desk to ask about it, the employee scolded us, saying she hadn't made the mistake, the manager was off for two days, and there was no one to speak to. She insisted the money would be returned and we shouldn't make a fuss, refusing to discuss the matter further. We asked for written confirmation, but she refused to provide it. Simply put, the customer service was poor; it’s a shame, because while the hotel itself is good, the reception staff leaves much to be desired.

The front desk staff were very friendly! It was great that a light breakfast was included!

Room itself as description. Can park in unrestricted parking on road without pating. Has a supermarket next door with really nice taco hawkers nearby

The staff at the reception were very kind. Thank you. I would like to come here again.

Every time I stay there is always consistent, (been staying there for years ) super clean, beds are comfortable and staff is always nice

It was a great stay!

They held our luggage before and after check-in. All the reception staff were very nice and helpful. However, there were issues with the water and the elevator. It took about an hour to walk to Hollywood.

The room was very clean, and the staff were very kind and helpful! The location was perfect for what I was looking for, and I think the price was reasonable compared to other hotels! It was so comfortable that I slept much better than I expected and missed breakfast! (laughs)

The price-performance ratio is excellent. The staff at check-in were very unfriendly. However, the other employees were all very nice.

I visited on a business trip, and the location was great and it was the perfect place for business purposes.

It was very convenient because there was a large supermarket right next door, and it wasn't dangerous either, which was nice.
