Kawada Hotel

The room was a bit small, but everything else was good. I was quite satisfied with the cleanliness. The location offers great value for money, and having a microwave and kettle was a thoughtful touch. It's also super convenient for getting around with the subway; the Walt Disney Concert Hall and art museum are just two stops away.

The room isn't huge, but two suitcases should be manageable. The bed was incredibly small, almost impossible to even turn over in. There's a microwave and a fridge in the room, and a washing machine on the third floor. You'll find a vending machine on the first floor. The room was cleaned daily and kept very tidy. The biggest downside, by far, was the soundproofing – I was woken up several times each night. The air conditioning noise was also an issue. Other than that, everything else was fine, and it's conveniently located near several metro stations.

The room was tiny, but the location was superb. It's a three-minute walk to Angels Flight and Grand Central Market, and five minutes to The Broad Museum. There are four subway stations nearby, making it convenient to get anywhere. The male staff at the front desk were helpful and easy to communicate with, but the female staff were generally quite stern. The street noise at night was very loud. If you're a light sleeper, this might not be the place for you.

Location: The hotel's location is excellent, right near the subway station and very close to Union Station. Amenities: They have a fridge, microwave, and kettle, so you can boil water and don't need to buy any. Cleanliness: The towels and sheets were very clean. Service: I was able to check in early on the same day; I got into my room by 10 AM.
