The newly renovated room has a very American 'old money' vibe. The location is excellent, and the room has a balcony, making it very quiet. The pool is on the terrace.

Very posh hotel in a nice residential area in West LA just off Sunset Blvd. Safe to walk around and close to restaurants. Has tennis court/pickle ball/rooftop pool access which is all complimentary. Free coffee every day and free wine every afternoon from 5pm onwards. Highly recommended.

Super loud noise from the old elevator sounds like a horn from a boat , I wasn’t able to sleep even with my ear plugs. Stay away from the elevator rooms !

Had a great stay at the Montrose when I decided to add a few days holiday onto the end of a work trip. After coming from Downtown LA it is in a great location and within walking distance of a number of shops and restaurants etc. I did ask for housekeeping on one of the days but no-one came so my room wasn't touched in a 3 day stay including towels but as I was leaving the next day I didn't report. Out of season it feels a bit of an effort to order food and drink to the rooftop as Tonic isn't open - no clear explanation as to what to do with signage etc - it might be nice to make it a bit clearer. Saying all of this I would definitely return to The Montrose as had a great time there, felt safe and very welcomed.

Amazing stay! Hospitality was perfect, rooms were large, and fireplace was amazing.

The room is very good and the surrounding environment is also good. The room price is not high, but in addition to the room price and the $65 parking fee, there will be a $10 city worker protection fee and a $35 Urban Amenities fee, as well as other miscellaneous fees.

The hotel was quite nice; the front desk staff were very polite. They greeted us proactively when we came in and out. The rooms were spacious and had an old-money feel. Dinner was delivered to our room quickly and tasted great! 👍🏻

The room is large and quiet. It has an open kitchenette with an induction cooker and a microwave, but no cutlery or pots are provided. I went to the front desk to make an appointment for room cleaning, but it was not done. There is free coffee in the lobby on the first floor in the morning and free afternoon wine in the afternoon. The hotel is close to Beverly Hills and Hollywood.

The hotel is pretty good. When you check in, they will tell you that if you need cleaning, you have to tell the front desk yourself, otherwise they will not take the initiative to clean or replace towels and bath towels.

The room was nice and the service was good. Friendly and welcoming.
