AC Hotel Downtown Los Angeles

The hotel boasts a convenient downtown location with easy access to transportation, right next to the Lakers' home arena, the Staples Center. The hotel environment is quite good, and the security staff are very responsible. Thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Family trip, close to the convention center. Valet parking was convenient at $70/night. Breakfast was $37/person, including a mandatory $18 destination fee. The room was a bit small, but the bed was very comfortable.

The room only provides two small bottles of water (around 200ml each) per day; anything extra needs to be purchased. The water from the dispenser has a strange taste, and the in-room coffee isn't good either. Two ladies at the front desk were very mean. A previous staff member had agreed to a 1 PM late checkout request, but this 'mean' lady insisted that the latest possible checkout was 12 PM, and kept pressing me about which staff member had told me 1 PM! They also kept calling me relentlessly to update my room card because I hadn't gone to the front desk promptly. And then, once I was there, the efficiency was incredibly low; every transaction took over 10 minutes to complete. I've never seen such slow service. The only upside is the location, but there are a lot of scary homeless people outside the hotel. Breakfast is quite mediocre, with limited variety, and not worth the price. If you want bacon, you have to pay an extra $5, and it doesn't even taste good.

This is a very new and modern hotel with an artistic lobby. It's a bit of a contrast to the chaotic atmosphere downstairs, haha. Overall, the hygiene and service are good. As long as you don't go out or downstairs, it's excellent, but that's just how downtowns are in the US. All in all, I still highly recommend it; the vacation vibe and comfort are spot on.

The location was quiet, and the soundproofing was decent, ensuring an undisturbed rest. Service was prompt, and it offered good value for money. The only minor drawback was that the space was a bit compact, and some details could be further optimized. Overall, the stay was pleasant, travel was convenient, and it's highly recommended.

The hotel is located directly opposite the Los Angeles Convention Center, a five-minute walk to the exhibition hall, and there are subway and bus stations nearby. The hotel lobby and restaurant are on the 34th floor, and the Western-style breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of delicious options! You can also enjoy city views from the bar on the 34th floor.

The AC Hotel Downtown Los Angeles was a really pleasant stay overall. It's one of those hotels that's more minimalist, clean, and practical. The biggest plus is definitely the excellent location. Being downtown, it's super convenient to get everywhere, whether it's tourist attractions, business districts, or exhibition venues. Getting around saves a lot of time, which is very friendly for independent travelers. The room itself followed a simple and clean aesthetic, nothing too fancy, but it was tidied up very comfortably. It's the kind of place that makes you feel at ease, without feeling cramped or dated. The public areas were also kept very clean!
