The Boathouses at Leaves & Fishes

I have stayed at leaves & fishes several times now, and every time… it never disappoints!! It’s the perfect location to get away, unwind & reconnect with girlfriends. Everything from the location, the outlook, the little luxurious details in every room, the comfort of the beds… it is definitely my favourite place to get away in the Hunter Valley!

Leaves and fishes is a place like no other in the Hunter Valley. As soon as you arrive you are greeted by the most beautiful grounds and I instantly felt a sense of calm. My husband and I LOVED our boathouse. With its king size bed, incredible bath and beautiful outlook how could you not! We actually planned to do more activities while we were in the Hunter, but we loved the serenity and our boathouse so much we actually spent most of our time there. An absolutely beautiful place to stay and we will definitely be back. Thank you for such a beautiful stay. Sal and Mark

A beautiful and peaceful place to stay, with thoughtful design and a relaxing natural setting. The Wi-Fi was reliable enough for remote work, and the staff were incredibly responsive and always happy to help. I left feeling refreshed and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, magical getaway. Hope to return soon!

Lovely Stay Lovely property - serenity. Comfy beds. Really enjoyed being able to sit on the deck with wine in the evening and coffee in the morning. The owner kindly extended our checkout.

Lovely setting & outlook. Could do with a Coat of paint and better quality mattress Blinds on the Bathroom to keep out morning light would be an improvement too but overall a very enjoyable stay

Loved this beautiful accommodation! The room was huge and extremely clean. The stone bathtub was to die for. It was the perfect little romantic getaway with my partner. Had gorgeous views over looking the lake. After our wine tour in the area we got to enjoy our purchases on the balcony with a cheeseboard with some ducks swimming through the lake. Very quiet and perfect for some R&R! Will definitely come again.

My husband and I shared a wonderful baby moon at the boat houses. It was so relaxing and recharging and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The rooms were stunning and it felt like our own private oasis. The bed was so comfortable and the bath was superb. We loved sitting out on our private deck overlooking the lotus lake. Looking forward to staying again.
