Lovedale Cottages Hunter Valley

Lovedale Cottages are in a quiet, peaceful location within the Hunter Valley. We rented three cottages (3,5 and 6) for a family wedding and all guests were delighted with their stay. Cottages were clean and welcoming and had lovely outdoor areas - great for entertaining big groups. Indoors was rustic with very comfortable lounges and beds and a cosy fire, with all wood provided. The very generous breakfast hampers were much appreciated as it meant we could spend more time in this beautiful location enjoying quality family time. Hosts Rosie and Paul were very friendly and communication leading up to arrival and during our stay was excellent. Of course we jumped at the late check out offers.

Clean and spacious rustic accommodation. Has everything you need to escape. No hassles booking and excellent communication. Very quiet and warm in the colder months. Breakfast had something for everyone alittle more bacon would have been nice.

My partner and I visited lovedale cottages for her birthday for a 2 night weekend stopover. We had a lovely time. It is my 4th visit to the cottages and it was how I remembered. On arrival you are greeted with a key in the door and a fire lit and warming the cottage for you. Also a breakfast hamper was supplied and in the fridge ready to cook up bacon, eggs, toast, juice and other necessities. We had been out for lunch and just looking forward to relaxing for our 2 night stay, enjoying the open fire and spa bath, watching the olympics on tv and playing a board game or 2. On our second day we played tennis and golf (there is a small golf course on the property) which was a bit of fun. There is a heated pool also but we opted not to bother with that considering we had our own spa bath in the cabin. The only thing that let us down was that it was freezing at night and the fire was warming but unfortunately it just didn't keep us as warm as we had hoped and think maybe the cottage lacks a bit in insulating. The electric blankets on the bed were great though and the bed was comfy and everything was neat and clean. We had a great break away from reality. Thanks again Paul and Rosie for your hospitality.

Great rustic getaway for a large family gathering. Paul & Rosie were so helpful. We booked 3 of the cottages with family members. Kids loved the pool. The rustic feel made us comfortable with 3 very active boys who love to explore their surrounds. No worries about white couches or pristine furniture while they ram & played. We loved it & would definitely stay again. The breakfast hampers were so generous and there was nothing we would change.

We stayed there for a 60th with family and had the most amazing weekend!!! The pool, golf, and tennis courts kept all ages entertained and it was the most serene and peaceful place to relax and eat Brekky on the verandahs. If you have a big group you can hire all the cabins and visit each one to see the unique old timey vibe. It’s also super close to all the wineries etc and can get buses to and from. We mostly just stayed at the accommodation though because it was amazing! And the resident bluey was the cherry on top!

Charming, clean, affordable, private and perfect for a large gathering. There is something for everybody - in beautiful surroundings. A series of rustic cottages, with old world charm decor, a swimming pool, a small bush golf course, larger entertaining areas and close to all the wineries, and local produce. The cottages were spacious, beds were comfy and most, if not all the cottages had spa baths. We also were provided bacon and eggs, milk, bread, juice, tea & coffee and cereal provided. There is nothing they haven’t thought of. We had a great few days with 30 family (but they could have fit more) and friends, and it was a hoot. Thanks so much to Paul and Rosie - perfect hosts, they worked with us all the way through to ensure a great price, room allocations etc. We would love to come back again. Dave and Cathy Robinson

We had a fantastic stay at Lovedale Cottages Hunter Valley, enjoying the cozy log fireplace, spacious spa bath, and excellent amenities, making it the perfect romantic getaway.

Was surprised by the cost as it was in USA dollars so was far more expensive then I thought. Was very rustic which was nice but the table very sticky like it had never been wiped down. Very cold the fire was not efficient. Great location.

Very sweet cottage, quiet and pretty. The fireplace and spa was a hit.
