Orchard House B&B

Would highly recommend Orchard House Ben and Breakfast. Beautiful location and setting. Owners very accommodating and friendly. Room was nicely decorated and breakfast was great.

Our trip to Virginia was absolutely incredible, and so much of that experience was thanks to this amazing bed and breakfast! The accommodations were beautiful, warm, and inviting, and the beds were so incredibly comfortable that we enjoyed the best sleep we've had in weeks. Each morning, we looked forward to the outstanding breakfast, which was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, cared for, and spoiled by the exceptional hospitality. We left feeling completely refreshed, relaxed, and rejuvenated. We can't recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be returning on our next visit!

We spent 4 wonderful days at the Orchard House B&B. This inn has everything you could possibly want: lovely views of the mountains and vineyard, terrific breakfasts prepared by Sarah Thatcher, a swimming pool and incredibly gracious hosts! The inn is located between Charlottesville and Lynchburg, so there are lots of great craft breweries, cideries and restaurants nearby. The area also offers hiking, apple and peach picking, fishing and, for tv fans of a certain age, the Walton’s museum at Schuyler, Va.

My husband and I enjoyed our trip immensely! Robin, Patrick, Sara and Caleb are some of the warmest and friendliest people we have met in our travels. Thank you from the bottom of hearts for making our stay a weekend to remember. We will definitely be back and we have already recommended your B&B to friends and co-workers. Thanks again for everything (including the candle in my breakfast and singing happy birthday 😍 and our porch conversations)! All the best...Lamont & Schavonna Williams

If you are looking for a place to stay in Nelson county then you should really check this place out. Nice rooms, great views, fantastic breakfast, and exceptional hosts!

We had a lovely stay in this charming B and B. The staff was over the top nice and couldn’t do enough for us. They prepared breakfast early, heated up our take out dinners, delivered the dinner with wine out to the pool, sourced a Coke for my son, etc. Top notch! The rooms are comfortable and the decor is beautiful as are the grounds. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This was an overall exceptional experience. Room was comfortable and an awesome view. The hosts were very friendly and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was astoundingly good. There are so many activities in the area making this an ideal spot to venture out from.

We had the most fabulous 3 night stay at the Orchard House Bed and Breakfast. The Thatcher family makes you feel special and pampered the minute you arrive. The property itself is spectacular, with a beautifully maintained vineyard, sprawling lawn, saltwater pool, and gas fire pit. We stayed in the three bedroom Farmhouse, with a fully stocked kitchen and comfortable common family room. The breakfasts each morning were so delicious, we found ourselves wondering what the next one would be! The area surrounding the Orchard House is also amazing! We enjoyed the wineries, breweries, lunch at Blue Mountain Brewery and we brought dinner back from Paulie’s Pig Out! This was such a special getaway for our entire family and we appreciate everything the Thatchers did to make it extra special. We already cannot wait to return!

Great place and the view was beautiful. The people was so friendly and nice. Also the food was great.
