Luang Prabang Pearl Hotel

This hotel is a hidden gem, quietly tucked away yet only a 10-minute walk from the bustling Chinatown in the city center. It's a charming and spotlessly clean hotel! The breakfast selection is small but exquisite, and the hotel even has two small pools, perfect for a relaxing getaway. It offers great value for money, and I genuinely recommend it.

The hotel is located in an alley, so cars can't directly access it. We booked a car through Ctrip from the airport, and the driver actually dropped us off right in the alley. Luckily, we found our way with phone navigation. If we had walked on the main road, it would have only taken 10 seconds to get there. The hotel is run by Vietnamese people, and the hygiene and service are excellent. It's not far from Mount Phousi and the Royal Palace, making it convenient for viewing the morning alms giving. Currency exchange at the airport is slightly worse than the best rate in the city, which is at JC Supermarket. However, if you're short on time, exchanging at the airport is fine. The Mora Massage near the hotel offers great massage techniques. We had a foot massage on our first day and it was a good experience. On our fourth day, we opted for a full-body essential oil massage, which I highly recommend. I downloaded the Lao ride-hailing app, Loca, but found it was in Laotian, so it was useless and I ended up deleting it.
