The room's location is absolutely fantastic, right by the river and just a short walk to the temple. There are so many great food options nearby, including authentic Lao hot pot. It's surprisingly quiet at night, and only a 10-minute walk to the main tourist street. The owner is incredibly nice and can even help book transportation, which was cheaper than what we found at travel agencies on the tourist street. Excellent service all around!

This guesthouse was the most pleasant surprise of our Laos trip! It perfectly embodies the slow, relaxed pace of Southeast Asian life we dreamed of. The location is fantastic, super convenient for walking to the night market. Our room was clean and tidy, decorated with a charming local touch. The bedding was comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. The owner is absolutely wonderful! Seeing that we were three people, they even upgraded us to a room with three beds for free. They were incredibly accommodating, patiently offered travel advice, and even helped us book transportation. The value for money is outstanding. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Laos, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip!

The room overlooked the Mekong River, which was beautiful. The owner wasn't there, but a lovely Lao girl made us breakfast. We booked a minivan to the station. The location and service were excellent. It was a very satisfying trip to Luang Prabang, and we'd definitely stay here again! Highly recommended!

An absolutely fantastic place! It has a wonderful French charm, and the environment and hygiene are top-notch. From my window, I had a stunning view of the Mekong River. The owner is Chinese, incredibly warm and thoughtful, and gave me tons of great tips for exploring. It's super convenient to get around, just a 15-minute walk or a 4-minute bike ride (using a shared bike) to the night market. My entire stay was delightful. Wishing the owner all the best with their business!

Positives: The location is great, right on the waterfront. The interior of the building is interesting (seems like a historic property), and there's a balcony with a river view. They also helped me with my luggage. Negatives: The price seems a bit high for the amenities offered. The water pressure in the shower was poor, and the bed was quite hard. Breakfast wasn't great: it consisted of an omelet with ketchup, two pieces of toast, and about a third of a cup of juice. Breakfast is brought to the room, but on the first day, they didn't even knock before entering. On the second day, I was leaving the city and had approached them beforehand to request breakfast by a certain time, as I had a car booked to the train station. I waited in my room, packing, but no one came. When I went downstairs to check out, the woman was only just preparing it, even though there had been plenty of time. In the end, I checked out hungry. Overall, the hotel needs to significantly improve its service for guests. Next time, I would choose a different hotel.

The owner is a young Chinese man, very enthusiastic! He kindly shared travel tips. Our family of three decided to go to Luang Prabang last minute and only booked the hotel when we were already on the train. The owner actively helped us sort out the rooms, making our check-in seamless! The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient. It's within walking distance to the Royal Palace and the night market. Wat Xieng Thong is just up the street from the hotel, and it's super easy to see the Mekong River and witness the morning alms giving. The location truly can't be beaten! On our way back, the owner helped us arrange a tuk-tuk to the high-speed train station! If I had to mention a downside, it would be that it can be a bit noisy at night since it's on a main street, which might be an issue for light sleepers. Overall, I highly recommend it! And the Lao hotpot place across the street is delicious! Also highly recommended! The owner is also Chinese, it offers great value for money, and the coffee is good too.

A very cozy Mediterranean-style guesthouse with distinctive gray-blue doors and windows. The location is excellent, facing the Mekong River, and not too far from Wat Xieng Thong and the Royal Palace. It's also very close for watching the alms giving in the morning, and just a three-minute walk to the main street (foreigner street). Breakfast is freshly made and tastes great. The owner is very welcoming and can help arrange shared rides to the train station and Kuang Si Falls.
