I honestly do not know how to feel about this hotel. Long story short, if you are sensitive to noise or value peace and quiet, this is NOT the place for you. If you want the full story, keep reading.
- The good things first:
The room was spacious, and the bathroom was large as well. There was a small balcony with a table and chairs, exactly as shown on the booking platform.
The biggest highlight was the mattress. It was extremely soft, comfortable and helped my back relax after long and adventurous days.
The room was well equipped with basic toiletries such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, a mini comb, shower cap, cotton buds, and soap. They even provided two umbrellas in the room. The hair dryer was powerful, so drying hair did not take long.
There was a small TV, which was enough for entertainment. Most channels were Thai, which was totally fine for us.
Both the ceiling fan and air conditioner worked well. Hot water was available after waiting about five minutes.
- The downsides:
They do NOtT seem to pay attention to guest notes. After reading reviews, I requested a quiet room away from the stairs, but we were given a room right next to the staircase. This alone was not a big issue for us.
The real problem started on day 3 of our four night stay, as the first 2 days were on the weekend. On weekdays, the school next door is extremely noisy. Resting during the day is almost impossible. We dont wanna ask for room changung because we have been here half of our stay already. The noise only stops after school hours in the evening. If you are assigned rooms from 501 to 512, be mentally prepared.
There is no soundproofing at all. You can hear everything from outside the room. If you are unlucky enough to be there during group bookings, expect constant noise from other guests and from housekeeping.
- Final disappointment:
What made me change my rating from three stars to two stars was the staff and management, and the 2 stars were completely for the room itself. At check out, no one even said goodbye, let alone smiled or offered help with luggage. The atmosphere felt cold and indifferent, something I have never experienced in my previous travels.
Overall, it was disappointing. It feels like a place that focuses on one time guests rather than building returning customers. It was a memorable experience, but not in a good way. I will definitely choose more carefully next time.
