At first, I thought the owner was Laotian, even though he looked Thai. But when I checked out and heard him say thank you in Chinese, it all made sense. This place is perfect for a private getaway. The hotel is clean and offers good value for money. Overall, it's a great place, and if I ever visit again, I'll definitely stay here.

A little away from the tourist centre of town, but not too far. The owner was very friendly and even carried my heavy luggage up the stairs. The room was very good and had a balcony. The air conditioner worked well. Value for the price.

On arrival, the host was under the impression we were only staying for one night, but we had booked three. The room he gave us was full of mosquitos, had someone else’s flip flops, and the room was dusty & full of cobwebs. The shower worked well, and there was free water in the room. Room wasn’t cleaned at all whilst we were there & we didn’t see the host at all after check in. It was a good 20-25 minute walk into the centre which didn’t bother us too much, but with everything else, it didn’t feel worth it. It was a shame as all other reviews appeared positive.
