3 Nagas Hotel Luang Prabang - MGallery Collection

LENG provided excellent service, thumbs up! 👍 The hotel's location is fantastic, making it convenient for sightseeing. It's also clean, tidy, and comfortable.

For our last two nights in Luang Prabang, we stayed at the Maison Souvannaphoum Hotel, located north of the 'foreigner's street' downtown. This is a boutique hotel under Accor's MGallery collection, officially named the 3 Nagas Luang Prabang, and it's a historic property spread across three buildings on opposite sides of the street. The lobby is in the west building, while my room was in the courtyard on the east side. The room size far exceeded my expectations; in a modern hotel context, it would be considered a junior suite, even with just one bathroom, which was quite spacious. The decor has a very vintage feel, and there were some gaps around the doors and windows, indicating that the building hasn't undergone extensive modern renovation. Although the bathroom was not small, it lacked a separate shower stall, so showering had to be done inside the bathtub.

Even with our limited English, the hotel staff were incredibly patient and communicative. The hotel itself has a wonderful sense of history and culture, yet feels completely relaxed and comfortable. It's small but exquisite – exactly my kind of vibe! The breakfast was excellent. There are lots of charming little shops to explore nearby, and you can even participate in the alms-giving ceremony right outside the hotel in the mornings. The hotel's location is superb, making it very convenient to get anywhere.

The service was great, but the room was too small and it got quite noisy for a while at night.
