Vienna Hotel (Luoyang Longmen High Speed Railway Station)

The room was clean, tidy, and odorless! The front desk even gave me a free upgrade and breakfast vouchers, which was very thoughtful and welcoming! It's super close to Luoyang Longmen Station and the 'Traces of Luoshenfu' performance venue. The shower had great hot water, and breakfast was plentiful!

The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from the high-speed rail station, making it super convenient for travel and visiting attractions like the Longmen Grottoes. The rooms are spotless, and the hotel is equipped with comprehensive facilities. Guests will find complimentary tea and coffee in their rooms, while the lobby offers a coffee machine, lemonade, and a selection of snacks such as hawthorn slices and local fried dough twists. Downstairs, there are washing machines and dryers available, which is a great convenience. For dining, the surrounding area has plenty of local options, including popular beef noodle soup and steamed bun shops. Highly recommended!

Since Vienna Hotels are a well-established brand, I decided to book this one for my first visit to Luoyang. After staying for four days, I can say it was a pretty good experience overall. Here's a breakdown: First, the location. The hotel is very close to the high-speed train station; you can see its big sign right after exiting. It's also conveniently located for visiting attractions like the Longmen Grottoes and Guanlin Temple. You can easily take the subway to the old town attractions, as the subway station is right next to the high-speed train station. Secondly, the room facilities are comprehensive. The shower has great water pressure, and the temperature is easy to adjust, which was very comfortable. The Wi-Fi was also consistently good. The hotel breakfast offered a decent variety, and it starts at 7 AM, which is very convenient. The service was attentive. You can have food deliveries sent directly to your room, and when I checked out, they even gave me a warm bottle of mineral water. All in all, I would definitely consider booking this hotel again on my next trip to Luoyang.

When I booked, the suite was listed as accommodating four people. However, upon arrival, we discovered there was only one king-size bed, which wasn't enough for our two children. They ended up having to sleep uncomfortably on the sofa. Aside from the sleeping arrangements, the cleanliness and facilities were good.

They even gave our kids little gifts at check-out, and the area is very convenient for shopping.

Getting to Longmen Grottoes takes only 10 minutes by taxi. You can also easily catch the subway from the high-speed train station to visit the museum. Overall, the convenience was excellent.
