Rosewood Doha

Excellent luxury hotel. Superb service. Very spacious rooms and apartments for long stays. Great facilities, include x3 pools, padel courts, gym and spa. Good location on front of Lusail, overlooking sea. Ideal location for the promenade and walking to the world class Place Vendome mall. 4 restaurant options. Chinese very good but on the pricier side. Overall food quality good but not outstanding. Highly recommend.

Amazing and recommended

I arrived at the hotel as early as 8 a.m. and was immediately welcomed in a very friendly manner with a fresh fruit juice and a refreshing towel. To my surprise, my room was already available, allowing me to lie down and rest for a while. The staff are exceptionally well trained and anticipated my every wish. Small thoughtful gestures continually added pleasant touches throughout my stay. The hotel gently introduced me to the, for me, still unfamiliar world of the Emirates. Every morning, I swam my kilometer in the pool. A soft towel was already waiting on my lounger, along with a chilled bottle of water. Afterwards, I worked out in the gym, which is equipped with state-of-the-art machines — something that truly delighted me. My room was located on the 16th floor and offered an incredible view. I enjoyed breakfast on the 17th floor, equally impressed by the scenery. Then it was time to explore the museums. As someone who is passionate about art, I found it fascinating to see the collections presented in the Arab museums. I was especially impressed by the Arab Museum of Modern Art (Mathaf) and the Fire Station: Artist in Residence. At the National Museum of Qatar, I experienced the country’s history through a highly modern and immersive form of scenography. Back at the hotel, I enjoyed an elegant afternoon tea with scones on the 17th floor, exactly as it should be. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel in Doha. It is clean, spacious, and genuinely welcoming, not overly luxurious or kitschy, but elegant and refined. Simply a must if you are visiting Doha.

We stayed at Rosewood Doha for a family holiday and overall had a very pleasant experience. The hotel clearly feels very new, and from the moment you arrive it is evident that great attention has been paid to every detail. The entrance is not particularly grand or showy, it almost feels more discreet than expected for a luxury hotel, but the atmosphere is elegant and intimate, which may appeal to guests looking for a quieter environment. At check-in we initially encountered an issue with our room, but the staff handled the situation exceptionally well. The problem was resolved quickly and professionally, and we were kindly offered an upgrade, which was very much appreciated and set a positive tone for the stay. Although we were travelling as a family on holiday, the overall atmosphere of the hotel feels slightly more business-oriented than resort-style. That said, our stay was very comfortable. The rooms were spacious, well designed, and very clean. The common areas are tastefully decorated and thoughtfully planned, and the overall design reflects a refined and modern style. The pool area was particularly enjoyable, with heated pools that were comfortable to use and well maintained. Breakfast was also a highlight. The offering includes a combination of buffet and à la carte options. While the buffet selection is somewhat limited, the quality is good, and the à la carte menu provides a nice variety of international and Middle Eastern dishes. We also had dinner at the Chinese restaurant Koo Madame. The experience was pleasant but not outstanding. We tried the well-known Peking duck, which unfortunately did not resemble an authentic version and fell short of expectations. The other dishes were good but fairly standard, although pricing was reasonable for the level of the hotel. Throughout the stay, the staff were consistently courteous and professional. Overall, we left with a positive impression of Rosewood Doha, which offers a refined and comfortable stay in a modern and well-maintained setting.
