The OQ

This is our second time staying at OQ Hotel, and this time we decided to book two nights so our son could enjoy the pool a little longer. We stayed in their one-bedroom suite, which is very spacious. Since there are only three of us this time, it was more than perfect for our stay. The space is generous and very comfortable. The suite is also very well equipped. It basically has everything you might need during your stay. There is a cooking range, cooking utensils, plates, and other kitchen essentials, so you can easily prepare your own meals if you prefer. It also comes with a washing machine, coffee machine, and microwave, which makes the stay even more convenient and home-like. Our view this time was also very nice, which added to the relaxing experience. We also tried their in-room dining, and we were pleasantly surprised. The servings were generous, and it was definitely good value for the price. Lastly, we would like to recognize some of the wonderful staff who made our stay extra memorable: Kevin, Lin, Najaf Ali, and Shubam. A special mention goes to Najaf Ali, the valet attendant. He is very enthusiastic, genuinely kind, and clearly loves his work. His positive energy really stood out, and the hotel should be proud to have someone like him on their team. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and we look forward to coming back again.

First stay at this super hotel. Friendly, helpful team at check in and the suites are fantastic. Bedrooms are huge with amazing sea views. The suites are spacious and the kitchens have the necessary equipment if you wish to make a meal. WIFI is free and fast. The pool area is lovely. Breakfast is good with a variety of food and the breakfast team are super helpful, organising an early breakfast for us each day as we had early starts due to a competition. Food is great in the restaurant. Valet parking is available and the area is quiet and safe. The hotel is about 5 mins drive from the mall. Highly recommend.

At 1:00 a.m., the reception called my room asking for the Qatar ID (CPR) of the person staying with me. This was already the third day of our stay, and all IDs (mine and my wife’s) were fully provided at check-in from day one. Being disturbed in the middle of the night for an internal administrative issue is unacceptable. When I asked why this could not wait until the morning, there was no explanation or apology—only a dismissive response suggesting I speak to the manager. This incident ruined the mood of our trip and reflects very poor guest handling and professionalism. I will not stay here again and do not recommend this hotel.

Excellent service and memorable experience I had a fantastic experience at the OQ hotel the staff were incredibly professional, friendly and attractive through my visit, the atmosphere was relaxing and very detail was well taken care of A special thank you to noureddine from room service who went above and , beyond to make sure was perfect his recommendations were spot on and made my experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great service and warm welcoming environment. I'll definitely come back

My money was stolen from my handbag, and the staff did not handle the issue properly. Despite reporting it to the front desk and a team leader, i was informed that i would be contacted after the investigation. But I haven’t received any update after more than a month now. It’s disappointing and feels like my concern wasn’t taken seriously. Someone deliberately took £70 out of £200 in my bag, which is very concerning. Please be cautious not to leave money in your bags when leaving your room.
