Lushan Building

This hotel has a rich history and a story to tell. Considering it's a nearly century-old building, the facilities are still very well-maintained. The service team is warm and attentive. They offer complimentary snacks daily. There's a hotel shuttle service to and from the cable car station. The hotel is also very close to the mountain shuttle bus stop, making its accessibility top-notch. It will definitely be my first choice again when I return to Lushan.

The room was spacious and equipped with a dehumidifier, so even with the rain and heavy fog, it didn't feel damp. They also thoughtfully provided a shoe dryer and charging cables in each room, along with a nail clipper. The hotel shuttle service was prompt and very convenient, and there's a dedicated elevator to the hotel, saving you from climbing stairs with luggage. The hotel also offers free use of hiking poles, which was very handy. The location is great, close to the tourist bus transfer point. Breakfast was good; one day they even had large shrimp, and another day there was braised pork. The staff were warm and attentive, proactively contacting me about check-in details. The hotel is beautiful, and each room door has a plaque and description of which general once stayed there.

The hotel itself is a historical landmark, and right at its entrance is the Lushan tourist shuttle stop, making it convenient to get anywhere. It's also next to the former site of the Lushan Conference, and only one stop away from Meilu. The room was spacious, carpeted, and had a very old-money feel, which perfectly suited my taste. Every day, complimentary snacks and fruit were delivered, and while breakfast wasn't super extensive, the food was delicious. The hotel assigned a butler to us, who added me on WeChat the day before check-in. On the day I arrived, it was raining heavily, and the butler arranged for security to come down with umbrellas and help us with our luggage to our room. For two consecutive nights, we couldn't find a taxi back to the hotel from Guling Street, especially on the first night when there was heavy fog. We contacted the butler, who immediately arranged for the hotel's business car to pick us up. The service was absolutely fantastic! 👍👍👍

The hotel and conference center are integrated into one large complex, and the location is truly excellent because this building used to house military officers.

This hotel, converted from a historic Republic of China-era building on Mount Lu, is full of historical charm yet doesn't feel old-fashioned at all. The room was very comfortable, and I was especially pleased with the shower – the hot water was consistently good, and they even provided conditioner and body lotion. Breakfast was better than expected, with a wide variety of options including braised pork and stewed beef tendon. The best part was the freshly made noodle soup; both the toppings and the broth were incredibly flavorful.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the Lushan Anti-Japanese War Museum and the former site of the Lushan Conference, and not far from villas like Meilu. The hotel itself is a protected historical building, nestled against the mountains, surrounded by ancient trees, offering a beautiful environment. I particularly loved its historical charm and Republic of China-era decor. Facilities are comprehensive, and there's a dedicated elevator on the left side when facing the hotel. There's also a convenient parking lot right in front. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tidy, with comfortable and clean bedding. The staff were enthusiastic and polite. The front desk staff patiently answered all our questions about visiting Lushan, providing practical and effective suggestions that saved us time and helped us manage our energy for climbing. We are very grateful.

It's also worth mentioning that the food at the hotel's second-floor restaurant is delicious and highly recommended!
