Lushan songmo B & B

The location is super convenient for getting around, really close to the main street, yet the B&B itself is wonderfully quiet and secluded, away from all the hustle and bustle. It's perfect for a relaxing getaway. The decor is very stylish and thoughtfully designed – you can really tell the owner put a lot of effort into it. The service is incredibly warm and attentive; before arrival, they sent detailed location and direction instructions, and even proactively recommended local hidden gem restaurants and sightseeing routes, saving us from having to blindly plan our own itinerary. The common areas are meticulously maintained and exquisitely decorated, with the lounge areas having a fantastic ambiance. It’s a great spot to just sit, relax, and take some amazing photos.

The most delightful surprise of my Lushan trip was undoubtedly this high-end guesthouse nestled amidst the mountains. Its overall design is minimalist yet sophisticated, with natural wood furnishings and panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. Opening the window reveals layers of green mountains and swirling mist. Waking up to the chirping of birds and a gentle fog in the morning, then enjoying a cup of Yunwu tea on the balcony while watching the clouds drift by – it’s a completely immersive, secluded, slow-paced lifestyle. The cleanliness was impeccable; the entire place was spotless. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, guaranteeing a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation, custom scented toiletries, a Dyson hairdryer, and a smart toilet – amenities comparable to a five-star hotel. The dedicated butler provided attentive service throughout my stay. They contacted me in advance with directions up the mountain and a guide to the scenic area, offered free shuttle service to the sightseeing bus station, and thoughtfully prepared hiking poles and local specialty breakfast. The public areas, including the tea room and observation courtyard, had a wonderful ambiance, perfect for photos, and offered excellent privacy. There was no excessive commercialization, just the quiet, healing poetry of mountain living. It’s perfect for couples and families alike. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Lushan. Highly recommended!

Exceeded my expectations overall! The environment was quiet and elegant, and the decor was cozy and unique. Even the hidden corners were spotlessly clean. There's plenty of food, drink, and entertainment nearby, and the housekeeper thoughtfully recommended local, lesser-known attractions and delicious food. Full of thoughtful details, my stay was comfortable, adding a great bonus to my trip. Highly recommend.

The facilities were decent, but the service felt pretty perfunctory. They didn't seem to care much about guest needs. We had communicated some requests in advance, but none of them were met upon arrival. So what was the point of adding their WeChat beforehand? Plus, the hotel wasn't even busy, yet they insisted on putting our two families, who were traveling together, in rooms so far apart and not even in the same building. I really don't get it. It just felt like they weren't thinking from a customer's perspective and we didn't receive the service we should have for the price. (And a major point: we specifically told them in advance that we had a small child and needed the private hot spring water temperature lowered to 38 degrees. Only after we had undressed the kids and gotten into the water did we realize it was still scalding hot. The child couldn't even get in. It was truly frustrating and incomprehensible.)

I had a very satisfying stay. The hotel offered excellent privacy, check-in was quick, the butler service was attentive, the room facilities were complete, and they even helped me with a free late check-out. Thank you so much!

This was my first time staying in Lushan Mountain, and the experience was quite good. 👍 The B&B is located behind Meilu Villa, a ten-minute walk away. It's also within walking distance to the town. The B&B is situated slightly higher, surrounded by greenery, making it a quiet and comfortable place to stay. We booked a room with a patio. In the afternoon, we sat there, brewing Lushan Cloud Tea with the B&B's mountain spring water, listening to the chirping of insects and birds among the trees. It felt like a perfect vacation. ^_^ The B&B's receptionists were all friendly and polite. They also proactively contacted us about the cable car transfer, which was very reassuring! 👍

Cleanliness: The room was very clean. Amenities: The hair dryer is a Dyson. Because the B&B is quite old, there's no elevator. However, the highest floor is only four, so a daily climb isn't a problem. Environment: The location is excellent, quiet amidst the hustle and bustle, just a ten-minute walk from the bustling city center and the transportation management station. Service: The guy who picked us up from the cable car was very friendly, and check-in was smooth. The housekeeper was very polite. Hmm... Well, the entire stay was just the right amount of politeness, not overly enthusiastic, yet always responsive. We stayed three nights and received fresh fruit and snacks every day. The housekeeper would remind us of the evening activities, and we were lucky enough to try the hotel's free barbecue and witness the traditional tea-making process. We had a delicious green tea. Food: The breakfast buffet was pretty consistent all three days—not particularly extensive, but all good. The kids loved the cakes, and dishes like rice noodles and wontons were cooked to order. We booked dinner at the B&B for all three nights. I give it 100 points for both the taste and the service. It felt like the B&B put a lot of care into everything. If I had to point out a small complaint, it would be that the bed was a little soft for my family and me. Finally, thank you so much for everything at Songmo. Environment: The original picture is straight out without filters. The architectural design and outdoor scenery blend together, which is really beautiful. After staying for two days, I have already appreciated the beauty of the sunny day and clouds in Lushan. I hope to have the opportunity to come and enjoy the snow scenery in the future. Service: The pick-up service is very convenient. The homestay has set up a service WeChat group. If you have any questions, you can ask directly in the group. The housekeeper responds quickly. In the evening, there are special activities such as watching traditional craft tea frying and watching the movie "Lushan Love". In my spare time, I used the bar and tea room in the public area, drank Lushan cloud tea, and looked at the scenery in a daze. The bartender was also very nice. Meals: There are not many choices for breakfast in the homestay, but the noodles cooked by the aunt are delicious and full. You can also eat lunch and dinner directly in the homestay. The price is reasonable and the taste is better than the restaurant outside. Facilities: The room is not big and not as new as imagined, but the facilities and equipment are still very complete and convenient to live in. Mountain spring water is provided for tea making.
