Lushan Zhihong Hotel (Meilu Store, Guling Street, Mount Lushan Scenic Zone)

Staying at Zhihong Hotel was a delightful experience! The service was excellent; they provided shuttle service to and from the vehicle management office and even dropped us off at the cable car station for the descent. Any requests we had were promptly addressed. The hotel's hygiene was top-notch, very clean and reassuring. On a side note, the food at Zhihong Restaurant was also delicious.

The hotel's location is just a bit east of Guling Main Street, so it's pretty central and not far from anywhere you'd want to go. Head right out of the hotel and take a small alleyway; after a few dozen meters, you'll reach Guling Central Park on Main Street, with restaurants lining the way. To the south of the hotel is the Lushan Cinema, where 'Lushan Love' is shown. Walk a bit further, cross a small bridge, and you'll find Meilu Villa. Cross the road diagonally from Meilu and walk a little more, and you'll reach the Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall. Many of Guling's old villas, including Pearl S. Buck's villa (unfortunately under renovation in early September) and villas where comrades like Deng Xiaoping stayed, are located near Meilu and the Zhou Enlai Memorial Hall. All of these are within walking distance. If you're driving, the hotel has a good-sized courtyard for convenient parking, and even a slow charger from the State Grid. If you don't have a car, turn right just a little outside the hotel, and you'll find a sightseeing bus stop. Back to the room: it's not too big, not too small. Besides lacking a refrigerator, it pretty much meets the standards of a mid-range business hotel (like a Ji Hotel) and is quite clean. I booked a street-facing room, but the glass provides excellent sound insulation. Plus, outside there are tall plane trees, which is quite pleasing to the eye. Across the street is a slope with no buildings, mostly just trees. At night, you can even see the fairy lights outside a pub diagonally across the street. The hotel's breakfast is comparable to Atour or Ji Hotel—decent and standard. The Jiangxi-style fried noodles are a highlight, better than what you'd find in outside restaurants. The hotel also has a full-service restaurant, which I didn't get to try, but I heard it's good. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and attentive, always ready to help. If my itinerary hadn't changed, I definitely would have stayed longer.

Clean and comfortable, with a cozy and stylish ambiance. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service, assisting enthusiastically with luggage and arranging timely pick-up/drop-off. Very satisfied.

This hotel is pretty good. They offer shuttle services to and from the cable car station and the mountain-top station. The rooms are well-equipped, clean, and tidy. The location is also excellent, right next to the Lushan Love Cinema, and very close to both the scenic bus transfer center and the Meilu Villa. Being in Guling Town, it's convenient for dining and sightseeing, yet it avoids the noise of the central street, making it a quiet retreat. Overall, the standards are met. The only minor drawback is that the room is a bit small, likely due to the building's layout, but it didn't affect our stay. It offers great value for money.

After you exit the cable car, there's a shuttle to pick you up and take you to the hotel. The location isn't far from the YunGuanSuo (transportation management office) station, so you can easily catch either the east or west line sightseeing buses. The only minor inconvenience is a small uphill walk each time. However, it's just a few minutes' walk to Zhengjie (Main Street), which is pretty good.

Great location, close to Hemiao Street and the Yun Guan Suo bus stop. The bedding in the room was comfortable, and the restaurant staff were friendly with good food.

Extremely satisfied! The room was clean and hygienic, and the front desk lady was very warm and kind. We checked in on Chinese Valentine's Day, and they even specially decorated the room for us, which was a wonderful surprise!

The lady at the hotel front desk was amazing, always smiling and super helpful. She gave us great recommendations for tourist routes and must-see spots, ensuring we didn't waste any time. The room was clean and well-equipped, and the attic room on the third floor was fantastic with a public outdoor terrace perfect for enjoying the night view. The hotel's location is excellent, close to cultural attractions, with tons of food options right outside, and just a few minutes' walk from Guling Main Street.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for getting around. It's only a three-minute walk to the Yun Guan Suo bus station, and directly across the street is Hemia Street, which leads straight to Guling Town Main Street. Meilu Villa is right behind the hotel, and there's a cinema next door. They also offer a cable car shuttle service.
