Overall, I had a 7/10 experience at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was good for sleeping. The staff were polite and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient and easy to access. However, the room felt a bit outdated and could use some improvements. The Wi-Fi was inconsistent at times, which was frustrating. The breakfast had decent options but could offer more variety. There was also some noise from outside during the night. Despite these minor issues, I still had a pleasant stay. I would consider staying here again if the room quality and facilities were improved.

Just a few minutes from the train station. I was a bit worried walking to the hotel in the middle of the night after my flight. The hotel is on the second floor of a shopping mall, and once the mall closes at night, you have to go around to the other side to use the stairs to bring your luggage up. I wasn't sure if there was an elevator available late at night. Since it's cool in the UK, the hotel doesn't have air conditioning, but the fan provided was sufficient for the small room. I didn't have time for breakfast, so I can't comment on it.

We were staying only for one night as early flight from Luton airport. Location is perfect close to the shops and Main Street only few minutes walk from the train station and bus station .  Hotel was lovely for what we’ve paid only thing it was very hot day and night and you don’t have air conditioning in the rooms but at least they give you air cooler  Beds were comfortable only thing I would say is the pillows they are to hard the rest very good . Staff very friendly we’ve been offered early breakfast as we would missed the breakfast due to early checked out so we got lots of croissants 😄😄free hot drinks available at the reception,perfect ! No fridge in the rooms

Not having a drop off point outside the Hotel is a no-no for me. Having to drag a suitcase uphill from the main road to the entrance with a walking stick is no easy feat. I will never return to Thistle Express again because of this.

Great hotel in centre of town Near to Luton Airport with handy parking Breakfast starts early if you’re flying and there’s a coffee machine when you arrive

From the outside this Hotel looks worn and is Gated / closed off - so you have to walk up to Entrance. But it’s a short ride from Airport and is in centre of Luton. Shower Hot. Room well finished. The Chirch bells are nice. Breakfast passable for 10 pounds.

For one night, difficult to locate, not practical but we had to ask directions when we were actually there. In the middle of a shopping centre but unfortunately the area is also filled with undesirables!!! Quite scary. Hotel was fine, amenities great, staff ok, room and beds very comfortable. Breakfast good choice. But due to feeling unsafe in that area I would not return.

From the moment we checked in , everything was fab. Sunny was very approachable and helped us with our parking requirements. He was very clear with the hotel set up, eg rea coffee making and open to advise us on what the area offered

Had a fantastic stay here! The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the area. The room was spotless, the bed was super comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Single bed bedroom was small but comfortable and clean enough, no air conditioning, so when the sun started shining through the window in the evening the room got very hot. There was a working safe available in the room. Free tea and coffee were available at the reception. The room price was 83 pounds in July 2026 and the breakfast was included in the price. This hotel is located at the end of the shopping mall or you can get in through the steps from The Square. One of the toilets near the reception was very dirty.

Clean and convenient. There was no Aircon but the staff took measures to inform and prepare the room as best as possible. Perfect for flying out of Luton airport and a handy taxi stand for you to book Ubers and close to shops and amenities. Wouldn't fail to book again for a pre flight stay. The team were also very professional and polite answering our questions.
