Is a good hotel

Very nice stay in a charming hotel, in front of a parc. The hotel’s well located for the center of the city and for groceries, restaurants etc.. I will come back !

The hotel is conveniently located on a main thoroughfare with a bus stop outside that connects directly to the airport. When we checked in none of the facilities or amenities were mentioned. The room was exceptionally hot and despite turning the controls to near zero and reporting it twice nothing was done and hot air pumped through between 2-3 am. The room size was adequate and pleasant but the on-suite despite on the small size it was ok. The shower malfunction again was reported and nothing done. Nice hotel ambience but little lacking in service

VERY SIMPLE hotel, simple rooms, simple beds, etc. BUT special wishes for the rooms were arranged. Nice hotel lobby, the bus stop is only a few steps away, Parc Belair is beautiful and right behind the hotel. No supermarkets or kiosks nearby(!) Looking for english speaking staff at this hotel? unfortunately the wrong place. Only one receptionist on the last day of our stay was understanding and speaking. Surprisingly you have to pay 50€/night in advance for the mini bar, breakfast, etc. as a guarantee. IF you take advantage of such. Speaking of breakfast… cold hall, poorly prepared, VERY little choice of ham etc. (only pork meat products and salmon), we had to ask the staff twice to refill some of the plates… So all in one an average hotel but a little bit too pricy. It’s alright for a few days. No coming back for us tho. 3/5.

The hotel was overall nice however we paid for a park view and were given a room on the ground floor with very little view/no balcony. We essentially viewed the roof. We tried to complain but were told no other rooms were available. We also had to wait in a 25 minute line to check in (we were exhausted from a long flight so that didn’t help). It wasn’t the single staff member who was workings fault, however you’d think they would have more than one staff member checking guests in when a long line forms.

The atmosphere, the location, the service, the breakfast on the terrace and a good night sleep in a beautiful room overlooking the park. What else do we need while on a business trip? Delicious home made ice creams. Jogging in the park is convenient. Very nice hotel indeed.

I visited solo to meet family on my first trip to Luxembourg. Everything was immaculate upon arrival until departure including super friendly reception, my friend Sebastian the bartender, and the excellent breakfast out on the patio. It’s a quiet neighborhood with a lovely park in the backyard and tons of great restaurants all around. East ride up the #6 bus from airport (about 30-40 minutes - free:-) Rooms are not extravagant but perfectly comfortable and with a great mini bar and quiet park facing windows. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Lovely quirky hotel about a mile walk from the centre (although with free public transport, even this is no bother!) Staff charming and super helpful. Quiet, smart and clean rooms. Air conditioning would have made it 10/10!

I have stayed 4 times at the Hotel Parc Belair, Luxembourg. I would recommend as this hotel has a personal style. Excellent bar and lounge and a very good restaurant. The staff are very helpful and I would recommend a Superior room on the back with a view of the Parc behind. I will continue to return. Outside is a bus stop and all public transport in Luxembourg is free. Direct bus to the airport.

Stayed two nights. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. location was good for a walk into the centre of Luxembourg. Hotel carpark was interesting. It consisted of a car lift. Medium or small car comfortable fit. Service was great

This Hotel was excellent, the location, the staff, the room everything was just perfect! Mr. Camal helped me a lot during my stay, gave me some information about Luxembourg, which made my stay at the hotel and at the city perfect! Thank you!

Firstly, if you are arriving by plane, the number 6 bus goes directly from the airport and stops right outside the hotel (Park Merl). Public transport is free. Easy peasy. Nice entrance hall and very nice restaurant to have breakfast in (of which more later). Bedroom was nice, not that big. King sized bed. Mattress was hard. There is firm and there is hard – this was hard. I woke with backache every morning. The lighting was a bit strange as the bedside light only worked when the two ceiling lights in the entrance worked. We tried every combination and eventually gave up. Nice bathroom, strong shower. Towels changed every day. Nowhere to hang them but that’s the same in most hotels so it was over the doors and over the chairs as usual. Hook on wall for shower cap which is good and hairdryer. Lots of mirrors in the bathroom – none in the bedroom. Chambermaids slightly over zealous. Note to self – don’t leave clean unused cotton wool pads by sink. Gone! Had to buy some more. 2 flannels provided of which I used one but that was taken away the next day and not replaced leaving just one. I hid this one in the shower to ensure it wasn’t taken away too. Separate area for packing and to keep suitcases which was very handy. Plus mini fridge, tea/coffee and safe. Also had balcony overlooking the park which was nice. Breakfast was a whopping 20 Euros per person per day. This is the most I’ve ever come across as an “add on”. We were expecting big things. Well, it was fine, had everything we needed but certainly nothing more than that. No option for cooked breakfast which my husband likes. Just help yourself – fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread, jams, cheese, eggs etc. All fine and we were happy with it, but not worth 20 euros. Why don’t they just give a fixed price with breakfast included? However, I do recommend the evening restaurant – Le Bistrot. The food was absolutely superb. Overall, a nice hotel, friendly helpful staff and we enjoyed our stay.

The overall service was experienced as very poor. Renting a parking for €25 a night but not being able to enter at New Years Eve causing us to be late at our reservation. Additionally, the breakfast was very minimalistic and absolutely not worth the €20 a person as even the salmon was not properly cooled causing sickness further ruining our NYE. To top it off we received “leftover cake” for my birthday from one of the staff-members, for which we where initially( to our suprise) billed €16 the next morning. For everybody considering staying here, DON’T!! You will regret it!
