Perfect stay, spacious rooms, great service. Very close to the city centre. Breakfast was also very good, not crazy amount of options but everything was fresh and tasty, service was awesome. For sure recommend to stay here

Dinner and breakfast were terrible. According to the front desk, free airport transfer is available, but the concierge asked to book one month in advance. pull!

Very well and centrally located between the pedestrian zone and the park, underground car park available. The hotel is not easy to reach by car due to the traffic layout in the city centre.
Unfortunately, no one will help you with your luggage at check-in, even if you ask.
But overall very friendly staff, a tiny bit slow.
Good breakfast buffet and very good! Having lunch. The restaurant has a beautiful courtyard facing the city park.
In the evening piano music in the bar, very good, unusual cocktails.
Nice room with everything you need, good beds, no coffee maker in the room.
Overall definitely recommended! We will stay there again.

I debated for a while which hotel to book for our 2 day trip to Luxembourg. I debated the slightly cheaper Melia, but am so glad I did not book there. The Melia is on the other side of town, in the business district. All of the sites and town squares on minutes from Le Royal Hotel. All of the hotels in Luxembourg seem to be a bit modern - I prefer more of a small boutique feel. While Le Royal hotel feels a bit modern and the decor a bit 90’s, it did not bother me in the least. The hotel was great, the location was great and the staff and service were excellent! I would definitely stay again. The hotel has a free shuttle from the airport. Abel picked us up from the airport (2 adults and 1 seven year old child). He was very kind and friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him about Luxembourg. The front desk staff were equally genial. The manager, Ramadan, was very quick and kind to accommodate our group with an extra bed for the room, as the recreation did not go through correctly on *******. He even gifted my son a travel game of Jenga. The downstairs restaurant was excellent. And the piano bar lounge proved to be one of the best spots we visited in Luxembourg after a long day of sightseeing. The bar has a separated lounge area away from the bar and piano with a variety of board and card games for use. We made a friend the day before on one of our tours, and that side room was the perfect place for us to all hang out and play Uno and Jenga. The beds were comfortable, the room size good. Our view outside our window was of a beautiful park. The hotel was a 7-8 minute walk to the Place D’Arms (main city square) with lots of shops and restaurants. The Pfatthenfathel elevator is very nearby.
