I was not very comfortable there. The owner and I had a serious argument because I was not satisfied with their service. At the end of the argument, the owner calmed down and we handled the situation better. However, I will never stay at this hotel ever again.

Nice place to stay in Luxor good staffs also they give early check in good behavior all staffs I think hotel is little old all stuffs little old then everything okay

SHADY Hotel goves me a unique experience. First, the staff and the manager is really kind and helpful, they are always willing to help you. However in my room, the toilet flush is not working. But i recommend this hotel for people who want a cheap hotel to stay in Luxor

The manager of this hotel forced me to made new booking for my girlfriend, event i already pay, and for the breakfast terrible and attitude of the manager of the hotel very bad, sorry for that, this my honest experience during stay at Shady Hotel

It's close to the station, but the road to the hotel is not well-maintained (this is true throughout Egypt), so if you have large luggage, it might be better to take a taxi. The hotel will arrange anything, including felucca, balloon, and transfer to the ruins. I had already booked the balloon and transfer to the ruins, so they arranged the felucca, but the time... I think the time was a little early. I came back just as other tourists were going out to the Nile to watch the sunset... To be honest, I think I would have been more satisfied if I had directly negotiated with the boatman along the Nile at the time of the scenery I wanted to see. Hot water came out well and the water pressure was perfect. The only amenities were bar soap. There was no hair dryer in the room. I used one I brought with me, so I'm not sure if I can borrow one from the front desk. There was a bathtub, but it wasn't cleaned. In fact, the drain was clogged from the beginning, and my hair got mixed in, which was awful. The refrigerator was very cold, but I wonder if the air conditioner is controlled by the front desk? It didn't turn on even when I pressed the switch, so I asked the front desk and they turned it on for me. There is an elevator. The clogged bathtub was the worst, but the hotel staff were all so kind (I told them I needed glue and they went out of their way to buy it for me!), and it was the only relief I felt in the rip-off town of Luxor lol. Luxor. The hotel is not good. The facilities are old. The staff seems to be part-time workers. They seem to be obsessed with making money. I got a job because there were no jobs. The location was okay.

Tips were asked from the moment you picked up your luggage. There was no kettle in the room, and it cost 10 pounds to drink hot water. There was no quilt in the room, only a dirty blanket that was torn and rotten. Because the so-called blanket was too dirty, I didn't cover my legs all night, and covered my upper body with my own clothes. If there is a minus 0.1 point, I would give it minus 0.1 point. It is disgusting and dirty. The swimming pool is also very small, just for show. It can't be called a swimming pool if it can't drown people? The owner of this hotel is the most disgusting. Every time his child moves, he will ask if he wants a tip. Disgusting!

I don't recommend this place for Japanese people. Even though you are tired and want to check in, they try to sell you tours. The toilet doesn't flush and there are no beddings. The shower only has hot or cold water. The only good thing about it is that Luxor Temple is within 1km. Car charter is also a rip-off, so be careful.

Located in the old town, the price is very high, and there is a free breakfast in the morning. The breakfast includes local whole wheat cakes, with mashed beans, cheese, a few slices of tomatoes and cucumbers, a fried egg, and a cup of coffee. Although the room is a bit old, it has a small balcony and the price is very reasonable.

I can't really recommend it. First of all, the bathroom in the room was generally dirty and smelly. It seems that the information at check-in was not shared properly, and even though I had paid the full amount online in advance, when I returned to the inn on the second day, the receptionist yelled at me and told me to pay for that night's stay. It was very unpleasant.
