The Villa 32 (Available only over 16 years old) provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Villa 32 (Available only over 16 years old) is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Taipei. With Taipei Songshan Airport just 14km away and Wanhua Station only 14km away, transportation is very convenient. The closest major public transportation, Xinbeitou Metro Station, is only 800m away. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Radium Kagaya hot spring, Thermal Valley and Puji Temple. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. According to our trusted guests, the facilities at this hotel are first-rate.

"The service, food, hot spring tub were excellent and the staff was very attentive. The only thing I wish could have been better is the outlets to plug my phone into. We couldn’t find one in the bedroom/sleep quarters (Japanese tatami). So make sure to bring a portable charger if you don’t want to be away from your phone. Another advice would be more of a treat if they provided a face mask and sleep wear. The reason I’d suggest this is because another competitor hotel of theirs provided very considerate toiletries for the ladies and I think that was a HUGE plus for me considering we spent a lot of money for one night. Anyways, overall villa 32 is great if you just want to spend a few hours to relax. "

"Service was top tier! Every single personnel or staff in this hotel were very accommodating and friendly. The amenities were more than what we needed. And we got upgraded into Fabulous room and the view was beautiful. The interior of the room is my favorite. I loved my time here in W. The pool though honestly was a bit cold for me. They probably dont use their pool heater much but i enjoyed more in their sauna, jacuzzi and steam room."

"The hotel just opened this year, and the rooms still have a lingering smell of renovation. I recommend waiting one to two years before visiting. Service is lacking since it's newly opened. When I arrived at the hotel at 6:30 PM, there was no greeter or staff to assist me. I checked in on the 14th floor, but the room there had a strong renovation smell, so I moved to the 16th floor. The hallway on the 16th floor also smelled strongly of renovation, so I knew it was pointless to complain further. They added a deodorizing and dehumidifying machine to my room. Non-alcoholic beverages and some snacks are complimentary in the in-room refrigerator. The room's decor is understated yet luxurious, and the bedding is Italian frette. Disposable toiletries need to be requested from the hotel. Free parking is available for hotel guests, and the breakfast selection is quite extensive."

"We were on a family trip with our kids. Upon checking in on the first day, the air conditioning couldn't be set higher; it was stuck at a constant 20.8 degrees Celsius. The room felt incredibly cold. Worried our kids might get sick, we asked hotel staff to check it at midnight. The front desk quickly dispatched a technician. However, the temperature couldn't be adjusted higher even by morning. After we reported it to the front desk again, they promptly arranged a room change for us. We took the kids out to explore the city center while they sorted out the issue. Upon returning, we were informed they had upgraded us to a different room type. The kids were absolutely thrilled when we entered the new room, and the A/C worked perfectly. A big thank you to every staff member at Le Méridien Taipei who helped us. We will definitely choose to stay here again on our next trip to Taiwan!"

"1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Thank you for your attention."

"The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Our room was spotless and came with complimentary drinks, fresh fruit, and cake. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus directly to Beitou MRT station, making it super convenient to explore and try local delicacies. The semi-buffet breakfast was a delightful surprise! The main courses were exquisitely presented, clearly demonstrating the chef's dedication and skill. What's more, unlimited refills of udon and Mexican wraps were available – definitely a highlight! However, there's one important point to note: If you have mobility challenges, this property might not be ideal. Both the women's hot spring bath and the reception area for check-in require navigating stairs."
