"Fantastic experience, very convenient for getting around. The room was spacious and bright, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering a great view. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and tidy. The breakfast had a rich variety, and the Taizhou snacks were authentic and delicious. Our butler, Fiona, provided warm, thoughtful, and prompt service. The gym and pool facilities were excellent, and the overall quality was top-notch, making for a comfortable and reassuring stay."

"The guy at the front desk was really friendly and thoughtful; he even suggested preparing breakfast early for us since we were heading to Jiufeng Mountain. However, the biggest drawback was the tiny window with no screen, which meant a lot of mosquitoes got into the room. Our whole family got bitten throughout the night, and my husband didn't sleep a wink, which was tough since he had to go to Jiufeng again the next day. A good night's sleep is the most important thing when staying at a hotel, but this experience was truly disappointing. Also, when we went for breakfast at 10 AM, there was hardly anything left."

"The Hotel was absolutely gorgeous. All staff from the beginning extremely helpful and supportive. Starting with the smart check in person Nishant who speaks wonderful English, going on with the nice room service ladies to all people serving breakfast, the lovely chef from Xian with his great dishes. The room is spacious with a great view to the lights of the close amusement places and wonderfully illuminated bridges. We would certainly come back and enjoy life at the Marriott Taizhou. Once you are in Taizhou please don't miss the yellow caves 黄岩石窟. People at the hotel will tell you how to get there . Marvelous and unforgettable experience!! True for Hotel and yellow caves!!! "This hotel truly deserves a manual thumbs-up! My stay was very comfortable, and the buffet breakfast was quite good too. The front desk staff, especially the young lady, provided excellent service – she was friendly, welcoming, and very quick to resolve any issues. The laundry room on the first floor is super convenient for washing and drying clothes. Breakfast was decent. For Chinese options, they had stir-fries, shrimp, shellfish, and other small seafood. The live cooking station offered freshly made noodles and mini wontons, and there was even fresh sushi. For a business hotel, the selection is pretty extensive. Aside from breakfast, the hotel doesn't offer other dining options. However, right across the street is an entire food street with tons of choices, which is incredibly convenient. If only the bathroom sink had a towel rack, it would be absolutely perfect! I'll definitely be staying here again next time."

"I will never stay at this hotel again. As a five-star hotel, several things left me extremely disappointed! 1. **Extremely slow check-in process at the front desk!** The first check-in took forever. After staying two nights, I decided to extend my stay in the same room. It took 15 minutes just to reactivate my room key card. On the third day, I still couldn't get the elevator to work when I went upstairs, so I had to go back to the front desk to reactivate the card again. Plus, the front desk is quite a distance from Building A. 2. **Lack of basic amenities upon arrival.** On the first day, when I entered the room, there were no slippers or amenity kits (like dental kits, etc.). This clearly shows a lack of preparedness from housekeeping. I immediately called the front desk to request them. It took three hours and two phone calls for them to finally deliver the items. The next day, after the room was serviced, essential items like tissues, slippers, and cotton pads weren't replenished. I had to call the front desk again to request them. They said they'd send them right away, but I waited another hour. It wasn't until my second call that they finally sent a robot with the supplies. 3. **Very mediocre breakfast.** For a five-star hotel, they didn't even provide knives and forks! I had to eat fruit with chopsticks. 4. **Lake view room was uncomfortably hot with non-functional AC.** Lake view rooms are inherently more expensive than non-lake view rooms, but my room was incredibly hot. The air conditioning provided no cooling whatsoever and didn't even have a ventilation function. The only way the room cooled down was when it rained."

"On a whim, my friend and I decided to head to Taizhou for seafood after failing to get train tickets from Shaoxing to Shanghai. We chose to stay at this hotel, which is an older five-star property. From the room's decor and facilities, it's clear they put a lot of thought into the details back then, with many standardized and pre-fabricated elements, which is quite impressive. The breakfast was also excellent, offering many unique dishes freshly prepared in an open kitchen. Compared to other hotels that often serve pre-cooked items, this was particularly commendable. There were even chefs circulating, directly assisting guests and catering to their requests, which was wonderful. We also had lunch at the hotel. The head waiter was very attentive, professionally introducing the dishes to us, and the food itself was superb."

The service was good too. The hardware facilities are good. It's a new hotel with a big swimming pool. Unfortunately, we came here for fun and didn't have the energy to swim after a day of walking around Taizhou. If you come here for vacation, it would be a pity to bring a swimsuit👙. You can take your children to play for a day inside the hotel. There is a swimming pool and a small beach. The breakfast is also remarkable. In addition to the common types in five-star hotels, it also has basic local snacks, and the taste is also very good. The disadvantage is that it is far from the city, there are no restaurants or convenience stores nearby, and it is not suitable for self-driving tours. Also, there are a lot of mosquitoes. Be sure not to open the windows."
