Spacious and natural, it is a resort hotel with various types of rooms, standing 15 stories high, currently the largest hotel in Wuxiang Village, suitable for both group and business guests. The overall design of Mushan Hotel incorporates local culture throughout, offering visitors a glimpse of a culturally rich and colorful Guizhou. The hotel lobby of Mushan Hotel covers 890 square meters, spacious and bright, with two floors connected for an especially open view. The decorations incorporate the local sericulture culture; on the right, a screen displays the silkworm rearing process and tools, while several decorative lights in the center of the lobby are designed in the shape of silkworm trays, representing the tools used in sericulture. Drawing back the curtains reveals misty Wuxiang mountain views or the distant Huolong Tower on the mountaintop. The walls are covered with silk material, hand-painted with a scene of Guizhou villagers from the Qing Dynasty enjoying singing and dancing under the flowers and trees. The deep blue carpet gives a calm and serene feeling, making the room cozy and quiet. In Wuxiang Village, staying at Mushan Hotel and watching the mountains as you pass the time is your best choice for a relaxing vacation.
"The hotel facilities are just average, quite a step down from what you'd expect from a five-star property. It's located halfway up a hill, about a 10-minute walk to the main scenic area. If you're not keen on uphill climbs, you might want to reconsider. The hotel corridors are quite old and have a strong, unpleasant smell – even worse than a public restroom. The carpets are very dirty. The room itself is okay; if your expectations aren't too high, you might manage. The mattresses are standard, not the specialized chain-hotel type, so they're not particularly comfortable. Service is virtually nonexistent. While a bellhop might greet you upon arrival, you're pretty much on your own for any other inquiries. It really encourages guests to be self-reliant! For basic information about the scenic area, the staff will just tell you to look it up on a mini-program. If it's your first time visiting Wujiangzhai, I recommend doing your research beforehand to avoid wasting time and missing out on key performances. If your room is far from the main elevator, the hotel might suggest you use the small elevator in the staff parking lot. The problem is it gets very crowded, and you'll have to queue. Finding these shortcuts outside the main lobby is quite difficult for first-time guests. P.S. Hotels within the scenic area are generally all quite similar."

"The lake view room offered a stunning view! The double sinks were super convenient for getting ready, and having both a bathtub and a pool was a huge plus. The kids had an absolute blast at the kids' club, digging in the sand, feeding animals, and riding the mini-train – they didn't even want to leave to explore! For breakfast, there was Zunyi beef vermicelli and beef noodles, plus Zunyi Ciba. The dinner buffet had plenty of crawfish, and we also enjoyed steak, lamb chops, oysters, and ice cream. It's about a 30-minute taxi ride to the Zunyi Conference Site, and ordering takeout was a breeze."

The front desk staff who checked us in were very welcoming and assisted us throughout our stay via WeChat. Overall, it was a great experience."

"This is my second visit to Zunyi, and I stumbled upon the Phoenix Grand Hotel. After checking in, I realized it was indeed the most satisfying part of my trip! On the morning of our check-in, while we were still enjoying Chishui, the hotel called to confirm our itinerary. When we arrived in the afternoon, we decided to extend our stay for an extra night. Even though it was during the Qingming Festival, they still offered us a very favorable rate for the extended stay. Seeing that we had a child with us, they proactively arranged a room for us on the first floor. The hotel is located in Huichuan District, which I consider to be Zunyi's new urban area. Suzhou Road, with tons of great food options, is just a short walk downstairs. You can find many Zunyi specialties within a few steps, like Min Si, Yiguo Xian, Huagongchang Roast Chicken, and Laopopo Ice Slush... so many choices that we couldn't try them all in two days. Phoenix Mountain is right behind the hotel, and the Zunyi Conference Site is about four kilometers away. Taxis are readily available downstairs at all times, making transportation very convenient. Now, let's talk about what impressed us the most about the hotel. While other hotels only allow you to wash one or two items for a fee, Phoenix Grand Hotel offers free laundry services every day. Each room's laundry is washed in a separate machine, dried, folded, and returned to your room. This was incredibly thoughtful for us, as parents traveling with children, who worry about clothes not drying. We could also sleep in and enjoy a leisurely breakfast, as it's served until 12 PM. There's afternoon tea from 2 PM to 6 PM, and late-night snacks from 8 PM to 1 AM (rice noodles, noodles, rice skin, wontons, tangyuan, and congee – your choice). Oh, and upon check-in, there was a fruit platter in the room (mango, grapes, green dates, cherry tomatoes, bananas...). If you're driving, the front desk will even help you book a car wash right behind the hotel lobby. Just hand them your keys, and they'll even park your car back in the parking lot after it's washed. When we checked out, the front desk proactively asked how many children we had and thoughtfully provided us with several bottles of the hotel's special chrysanthemum tea to drink on our journey. In summary, the service is very attentive, and their responses are prompt. I highly recommend choosing this hotel when you visit Zunyi!"
