Luxury Hotels in Addis Ababa

"This service is absolutely terrible, truly awful. If you want to order room service and pay with cash, you have to go down to the front desk first to pay, and then the front desk notifies the restaurant. I tolerated that. But when I got to the front desk and explained why I was there, as I was about to pay, they asked me where the cash came from and demanded proof. I told them I got it from the bank earlier, but I'd already thrown away the receipt. Since I couldn't prove it, I couldn't order food. Seriously, I'm not paying to stay in a hotel, I'm paying for torture! What happened to the spirit of room service? And then, when my friend went up to help me with my luggage, they demanded to hold onto my friend's passport at the front desk. I was furious and told them they had no right to detain my friend's passport. They righteously claimed it was for safety. I retorted that there are many ways to ensure safety, so why choose to seize a passport? This stay was an incredibly bad experience. Their service doesn't even come close to hotels like Hyatt, Marriott, or Tulip. Some of the staff even seemed arrogant and stuck-up. I will never stay here again."

"The room facilities are quite complete, the decor is relatively new, and it's clean and hygienic. The service is attentive, and breakfast is plentiful. There's also a gym and a spa. The only inconvenience is that parking is difficult right outside the entrance, and it's hard for taxis to get right up to the hotel lobby, which might be for safety reasons."

The room was quite spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft. The soundproofing was decent too, allowing me to truly relax after a long flight. The staff were attentive and responsive to any issues. Next time I'm in Ethiopia, I'll definitely prioritize staying here again."

"The hotel is not in the city center so there is nothing nearby, but it is not far to the city center by taxi. The hotel has a swimming pool and spa, but I didn't try them. The room is also average. If you want to stay, I suggest staying at Hyatt Regency. You won't be disappointed"
