"A Deeply Disappointing and Unacceptable Experience at Skylight Hotel
I stayed in a mini suite at Skylight Hotel, and I was shocked by how terrible the experience turned out to be. The staff were rude, impatient, and made me feel completely unwelcome from the moment I arrived. For the high price I paid, I expected decent service – instead, I was treated with disrespect and inflexibility.
Friends and family who came to visit me were not even allowed to come up to my room. I wasn’t trying to throw a party – just to see my loved ones for a short visit – and even that was forbidden. The hotel felt more like a guarded facility than a place of hospitality.
Worse still, the treatment I received clearly depended on the color of my skin. White guests were treated with smiles, courtesy, and flexibility. I, on the other hand, was made to feel like I didn’t belong there. It was blatant discrimination, and I will not stay silent about it.
I had originally planned to extend my stay for three more nights, but after one evening, I made the immediate decision to leave. I’ve stayed at many hotels, and this was by far the worst service I’ve ever received.
Skylight Hotel should be ashamed. I will never return – and I strongly advise others to think twice before booking here."
