Hotel near Kuala Lumpur City Centre,Kuala Lumpur
No. 6 of Luxury Hotels in Kuala Lumpur
The Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Kuala Lumpur will find that the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur is a fantastic accommodation choice. With Ampang Park just 1km away and Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport only 29km away, transportation is very convenient. Just a short walk from KLCC Metro Station, traveling to most city destinations is a breeze. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Sultan Abdul Samad Jamek Mosque, KL Hop-On Hop-Off and Court Hill Sri Ganesar Temple all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, right next to the Petronas Twin Towers – just a 2-minute walk! Super convenient. Objectively, the hotel facilities are quite dated. If you prefer a modern, contemporary feel, the traditional Chinese classical decor might not be to your taste, as the hotel's age is evident. The service is decent, standard for an established star-rated hotel. Both the Chinese and Western restaurants downstairs are excellent. I highly recommend dining at the hotel; it's convenient and high-quality."

"A big thank you to Trip.com customer service and every hotel staff member we met! Our child developed a fever during the long flight, and after some discussion, the hotel promptly prepared a room and allowed us to check in early at 11 AM. During check-in, the front desk staff constantly checked on our child and kept them entertained. The room was clean, tidy, and had a great view. They also provided complimentary welcome fruit and small cakes. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, though nobody ever came to clear the table. Thanks again to the hotel staff and Trip.com customer service!"

"The location is superb, with major shopping malls just a short walk downstairs. The hotel lobby on 6B offers beautiful views overlooking the KLCC fountain! Although the Petronas Twin Towers aren't fully visible and are partially obstructed, it's great to feel like they're right next door! The hygiene and service are excellent! While the breakfast selection isn't particularly unique or extensive, it's decent and enough to eat! It did get a bit repetitive after three days, though, so perhaps consider guests staying for consecutive nights. Overall, the Four Seasons definitely enhanced my impression of Kuala Lumpur!"

No. 1 of Luxury Hotels in Genting Highlands
The Resorts World Genting - Crockfords is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Genting Highlands will find that the Resorts World Genting - Crockfords is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is 31km from Batang Kali and 72km from Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport. This hotel is located near many of Genting Highlands's attractions including Genting Highlands, Bona Cinemas and Genting International Convention Centre (GICC). At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. Germaphobes can rest easy - the level of cleanliness is highly rated at this hotel. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"I stayed at Crockfords Hotel Genting in early October 2025 and was genuinely disappointed by the level of service — especially for a hotel that claims to be Malaysia’s leading luxury property. On 3 October, I approached the concierge Duty Manager around 9:40am regarding the hotel Wi-Fi, which kept showing an “invalid credentials” error. Instead of taking the initiative to verify the problem — which turned out to be something as simple as incorrect login details given at check-in — he insisted that the IT team would need to come into my room to fix it. Later in the day, another staff member resolved the issue within minutes by simply checking the credentials. It’s baffling how the Duty Manager couldn’t do something that basic. Throughout my stay, I also noticed that many of the staff seemed lost and unsure of how to handle simple situations — almost like the blind leading the blind. There was a clear lack of coordination and communication among them. The breakfast experience was another major letdown. I had breakfast there for three consecutive days, and throughout, the food was never hot — the noodles in soup were the only consistently warm item served. To make matters worse, the staff did not communicate properly among themselves. On one morning, we were told to wait while a table by the window was being cleared for us. After waiting a good five minutes, another group of guests was allowed to take the exact table we were waiting for. The explanation given was simply that “the other guests wanted the table.” Completely unacceptable for a hotel of this supposed calibre. The only saving grace was the Duty Manager working on 5 Oct and overseeing the breakfast buffet, who was attentive, proactive, and took the initiative to check if guests needed drinks or assistance. His professionalism truly stood out amidst the confusion elsewhere. For a hotel that boasts winning the Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star Award seven years in a row, this experience was frankly a joke. The gap between Crockfords’ reputation and its actual service standards is staggering. Truly disappointing and nowhere near what one would expect from a so-called luxury hotel. PS: At least the view was great."

"I booked the Sky Suite for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day quite a while in advance. The room was spacious, and both the bedroom and living room offered views of the Petronas Towers. However, the room windows were quite dirty, which made photos turn out poorly. The cleanliness was excellent, and there was plenty of bottled water in the room. We received welcome fruit, but it wasn't provided daily. If the hotel were more thoughtful, they could have offered something like sweet soup on subsequent days, as we couldn't finish the fruit. The room rate was quite high; at 6,000 a day, it felt a bit overpriced. We stayed for three consecutive days and didn't even receive a souvenir. The essential oil in the room smelled nice, and I particularly liked the scent of the essential oil in the hallway. Here are a few areas that need improvement: 1. The air conditioning was too cold and couldn't be adjusted above 24 degrees Celsius. 2. The faucet in the sink had no buffer, so water would splash all over you as soon as you turned it on. 3. The main bathroom light was linked to the exhaust fan, which was incredibly loud. Any time you needed more light, the exhaust fan would also turn on, creating a lot of noise. 4. Room soundproofing was poor; we could hear noise from both the hallway and the bar upstairs. 5. The duvet was too thin, and because the air conditioning was so cold, we froze at night. The swimming pool was nice, but there was only one changing room. I'd recommend changing in your room before going for a swim. The rooftop bar charged 1200 MYR for two people on New Year's Eve, and the fireworks were terrible. Overall, this hotel offers very poor value for money."

"I am writing to provide serious negative feedback regarding the conduct and unhelpfulness of your Assitant Front Office Managerduring my recent stay on 16/12/2025-18/12/2025 for 3 rooms. I have stayed in this hotel since the official opening and enjoyed most of my stays here. My local associate will always made the bookings to save my hassles until July this year. I have also met many excellent staff all these years in this hotel but not this trip. My experience was defined by a profound lack of assistance at a critical moment, which significantly diminished my impression of the hotel. The core issues were as follows: Refusal to Assist with a Reasonable Upgrade Request: · The Situation: Upon check-in, I politely inquired about the possibility of an upgrade due to the assigned rooms are at the far corner of the building and need a squarish room to add an extra bed. The Front Office Manager dismissed the inquiry immediately with a flat ”no,” stating room types are fixed at booking. If I want a suarish room, I need to upgrade and pay an additional of Rm50 per day. There was no effort done but simply ask for additional fee to change the room type and Rm120 for an additional bed after the change. The tone was dismissive and transactional, making me feel like an inconvenience rather than a valued guest seeking to enhance my stay. This contradicts basic hospitality principles of exploring possibilities to delight guests. There was a discrepancy in my booking details made through online. I requested the front office contact to clarify and resolve the issue, as they had the contract and authority. The assistant manager outright refused, stating it was ”my responsibility” to contact the agency myself. This is a fundamental failure in service. A key role of the front office is to act as a liaison and problem-solver for the guest. By refusing to make a simple professional call to a partner agency, the manager shifted all burden onto me, wasted my time during my vacation, and demonstrated a shocking lack of initiative and guest advocacy. It amplified a minor issue into a major frustration. This was not a minor service lapse; it was a failure of core front-office leadership functions: empowerment, problem-solving, and guest advocacy. The manager displayed a rigid, unaccommodating attitude focused on policy enforcement over guest satisfaction. Instead of being the ultimate solution-provider for the front desk team, the manager became a roadblock. After all the hassles, I requested my friend to book an additional room and pay around Rm480 instead of wasting my time with the unprofessional “executive”. To my surprise, the room is squarish instead of semi rounded as what the Asst Front office manager claimed earlier. On our check out day on 8/12/2026, my guest return their keys at the front desk but was told that there is any outstanding amount of around rm480 to be paid. This cause frustrations to my guest and embarrassment to me greatly. When I clarified with the front desk personally after receiving a call from my guest, I was told was their mistake as they have overlooked something after some checks. I expect this feedback to be formally addressed. The Front Office Manager requires: 1. Retraining in empathetic service recovery, upselling techniques, and the proper handling of third-party bookings. 2. Clarification of Authority: Managers must be empowered (and expect to use that empowerment) to make exceptions, make phone calls, and find solutions within reasonable limits. 3. A Shift in Mindset: From gatekeeper of policies to enabler of positive guest experiences. I expect a formal response from hotel management regarding the steps taken to address this serious service failure."

"Second stay at PARKROYAL COLLECTION and still impressed This was my second time staying at PARKROYAL COLLECTION. After I informed the front desk, they listened attentively and changed my room immediately. I truly appreciate their prompt response and hospitality in addressing the matter so efficiently.
