Hotel Lestelle - Self Check-IN Reviews

Absolutely terrible. The shower drain was completely blocked, causing the bathroom to flood. On top of that, the shower itself was tiny and cramped. I guess it serves me right for trying to save a buck.

The location was great, just a 10-minute walk from Lucerne Central Station. However, the self-check-in system was cumbersome, the elevator was inconvenient, and having to carry my luggage up stairs to my room was incredibly difficult. Furthermore, the room felt like a hastily converted attic, which made it feel significantly overpriced given the facilities provided. With almost no in-room amenities, I definitely cannot recommend its overall condition.

Great location, close to the train station and right in the old town. The hotel's downstairs restaurant was so delicious! Great value for money!

The location is superb, right in the heart of the old town. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but it was clean. It's comparable to a standard budget hotel in China. Overall, it offers decent value for money, and I'd recommend it.

Check in process was very smooth and simple! There isn’t a front desk or any other hotel amenities. Room is decently clean but small and old.

The elevator was a bit unnerving, making me reluctant to use it. However, check-in was quite convenient. I stayed on the top floor, and the room felt a bit cramped. Also, the bathroom fan made an inexplicable noise that I couldn't figure out how to switch off.

The room is pretty bare minimum. The lift is an experience. 😂 The hosts were quite helpful but doesn’t really understand English (or me in that matter). Your keycard should open the outside door (I was blind; the information is at the door but all the way to the bottom)

Very nice stay in the absolute best location. Only complaint was that room hadn’t been cleaned at all prior to our self check in. Assumed that cleaners were running late but when we returned at 6pm the room still had dirty sheets on the bed and wet towels on the floor in the bathroom etc However the problem was very quickly resolved by calling the owner.

The self check in experts not very smooth so that could be improved . Besides it’s ok , location is decent but will have carry luggage up stairs from ground to first floor after which there is a goods lift

Nice location. Simple self check in process. I got no PIN code for opening the door outside. And the lift is a weird one. My room is on the 5th floor, and it’s actually a cabinet with beams above. If you’re higher than 1.75 m, you should consider your head’s feelings.

This is the worst hotel experience of my life. The room is in the attic on the top floor, and the clock tower next to the windows you can clearly hear the ringing of the bell on the hour, once every 15 minutes, twice every half hour, and several times on the hour at night. Very harsh and unable to sleep. The rooms are not very clean and the facilities are old. This price is not cost-effective, very not recommended

The worst experience ever! Too close to the rooftop and the room smell not good! Also, the wall and the light is not good enough! Everything was not pleased! Wanna leave when I came into the room! Never choose this hotel if you travel alone!

Everything worked out perfectly! Hotel in the heart of the city center. Check-in and check-out were very easy. I highly recommend it and would come back anytime. There's a parking garage nearby, just a 5-minute walk away. However, the daily rate of CHF 35 isn't exactly cheap.
