This was my first time staying in a hostel, and it wasn't as good as I'd expected. The room was quite basic, like a rented apartment in China. The weather was hot and humid, and there was no air conditioning. I couldn't open the window because of the greenery outside and mosquitoes. It was also very noisy, with lots of primary school students staying there, which I found odd for a hostel. The front desk said they couldn't do anything about the noise or the mosquitoes, which was a bit disappointing. On the plus side, they did have lockers for luggage, which was good.

This hostel felt like going to a summer camp, all noisy and with lots of companies there. At night though it was rather peaceful, but really hot due to no air conditioning in the room. Lots of convenient lockers for a deposit of 2 CHF that you get back after opening it. Showers too were as if I went to my old dormitory campus, closing with just curtains and no light in the stall behind them, but at least there were plentiful hangers and shelves. Location is pretty far but reachable with a bus, so having a free bus pass was handy (although nobody ever asked to show it). Breakfast was great, lots of choice. For being probably the cheapest option there for a solo traveler, it was really okay.

The staff were great and accommodated our last minute delayed check in.

The hotel's location is pretty good. We booked a double room and were assigned a top-floor room with a layout very similar to the pictures. Firstly, there's no elevator in the hotel. Secondly, it was extremely hot in Switzerland this summer, and being on the top floor made our room even hotter. Forget air conditioning, there wasn't even a fan… Everything else was fine though. There were plenty of showers and they were quite clean. Breakfast was included and it was decent.

The location is convenient, and the cleanliness is good. Although no toiletries are provided, the showers are comfortable with excellent hot water, and there are plenty of bathrooms and shower rooms available. The only issue is that the soundproofing is mediocre.

The hostel were not flexible to accommodate us on our arrival time so I have to booked one night from other hotel. Booked 2 nights here but only able to use one night because of what I just mentioned above. Bed allocation was not properly managed and no clear instructions for the beddings stuff. Not happy with this hostel and I’d rather pay more at other hostel

Great place for solo travelers, staff are so friendly and will have a good chat with you. If you want to make friends this is place for it. Loved my stay thankyou.

This is a great hostel. It was a bit noisy because there were some kids on a study trip that day, but I booked a 20-bed dorm and only three girls checked in, so it was very quiet. The accommodation was also excellent. The location is a little far from Lucerne train station, but it's still within walking distance. The staff were all very good. Breakfast didn't have many options, but it was decent enough.

Super clean and cozy. The breakfast is provided with no additional fee and it is a decent quality. City pass is provided via email in advance, so you can register it in your Apple Pay and ride any bus inside Lucerne city. You can take a 19 bus from the Luzern Bahnhof to arrive to the hostel. The hostel has a spacious public place where you can work/study or chill or have a meal by yourself. No towel is provided and you need to bring your own.

I accidentally booked the wrong dates, but the staff were incredibly helpful and resolved the issue for me. A huge thank you to them! This hotel offers great value for money, a comfortable environment, and a wide variety of delicious breakfast options. Highly recommended!

The hotel was clean and nice. The only thing is it did not have AC.

I've stayed here multiple times. Everything's always been fine.
