A hole in the wall. The only reason I stayed there was due to the affordable rate. But should have known with affordable rates, it was going to be a dump. The elevator has been out of order for a year now. The thinnest bed linen with cigarette burnt stains and other stains that I assume couldn’t come out from washing the sheets. I was on the second floor and had to make several trips to grab my items, since the elevator is broken. I can tell ppl that is hard on their luck, are staying there, like it’s a home for them.

Never again If we had not checked in so late at night we would have found another place to stay. The elevator did not work. Ok. The stairwell was covered in trash. First room was infested with bugs and had an odor. Second room had sheets and one set of towels. No blankets. We did not request any because the front desk staff was already agitated and we did not trust that there would be clean blankets. We slept in our sweatshirts. No one walked on the carpet without shoes. Never again.

We do NOT recommend!!!!! We do NOT recommend Super 8 in Lynchburg!! We had to check in a little later to our room because we had been working, it was about 11pm. The room I had originally booked online they no longer had, so they gave us a different room, which was fine, no big deal. But when we got to the room, there were NO towels, NO blankets on the beds, just sheets (and they had stains & hair on them), a couple sheets of toilet paper left on the roll, trash on the bathroom floor, used q-tips on the floor and in the window sill. The TV was on when we walked in and things were just not clean or tidy, it felt like someone had been taking their lunch break in the room or something. My husband went to the front desk to ask for towels and blankets, they didn’t have any!! So the girl pulled out some sheets from somewhere and said here you go. With that my husband asked if we could be moved to a different room or get a discount on our stay, the girl said they don’t give discounts and if we want a refund we need to leave. We had booked this several days before and had tried every other hotel in the area, but every other hotel was booked, so there was no other place for us to go!! It as a really bad experience and a very bad nights sleep!

Extremely dated, dirty and smelled really bad. Nothing seemed clean. Only positive was location to Liberty, but I would never stay here again, I'd rather drive an extra few minutes.

Underwhelming to say the least Upon arrival, I was dismayed by the smell in the stairs and second floor hallway, as well as the condition of the carpeting. However, once in the room I could tell that there had been some renovations completed to the room (not the bathroom - which was not clean). The furniture appeared to be updated and the air conditioning was working well. The other positive aspects were that the water pressure in the shower was very good, there was no concern with hot water, and the shower head was a good height. However, there was only one towel in the room, which had 2 queen beds and had been reserved for 3 people. When I went to the desk to ask for towels I was told to stop back later because they needed to be dried. (When I did come back they were not ready). The television did not work. I reported it at the front desk and said we were going out and asked for it to be addressed. When I returned 3 hours later the lady at the desk told me she had just texted maintenance. No one ever came to fix it. (Note - the person in line behind me said hers was broken too). As we were getting into bed we noticed there were no blankets on either bed and only a fitted sheet on one of the beds. I walked back to the front desk (elevator was broken) and was given one blanket and told they did not have any more. The lady at the desk responded politely yet indifferently. I don't expect much at hotels such as the Super 8, but basics such as towels and bedding are expected.

Run don’t stay I would have rated this place lower if that was an option. From the moment you drive in you realize it may have been a mistake. Building is in need of serious repairs: carpeting, elevator inoperable, dirty walls, floors, noTP holder, the smell in the room was indescribable, safe didn’t work, security doors that didn’t work and others just propped open with rocks. The sound of people screaming at others with “colorful language” just terrified me / my daughter. Do not stay here unless you grew up in the projects…

You Get What You Pay For Well, here's the deal - you definitely get what you pay for. Sometimes you get lucky...this was not really one of those times. It's a Super 8 - so, you roll the dice. My personal experience was a comfortable bed, sheets were clean. Pillows were fine. The room was non-smoking, but it definitely had a stale smoke smell to it. I had the window cracked open most of my stay to air it out. The desk chair was a curved wooden chair, but the "back" was cracked where it curved to the "seat"...so if I had leaned back, it would have snapped off. The TV didn't have any legs - it was just sitting on the table leaning against the wall (I never turned it on). The AC was loud, but very effective. The bathroom... Well, the toilet needed to be cleaned. It wasn't terrible except for some "matter" on the front rim (not sure how it got up there). There was a hair in the sink. The water pressure was "so-so", and probably the worst was that when I got in the shower and pulled the curtain...it appeared that someone had possible run out of toilet paper at one point and used the edge of the shower curtain. As I was already in, I kind of "looped" that section out of the tub and took my shower. Overall..."it was a room". I have learned my lesson for this particular hotel and I will not be staying here again. Unless they improve their standards to ensure cleanliness...and maybe not a broken chair, I couldn't recommend staying here.
