Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lynchburg

The Hotel is very nice, I like the room it’s very large and clean, the staff are friendly helpful the breakfast is few selection but it’s tasty, I fully recommend any one visit Lynchburg one additional it’s close to shopping mall.

Fantastic location! If you're looking for a central location from which you can explore Lynchburg, then this is your place. I couldn't believe how close everything was from this location. You have Kroger, Cookout, Liberty University, the River Ridge Mall, Walmart, Target, and a whole host of locations all within a 5 minute drive of the location. Additionally, the hotel is right next to the access to 501 heading to Forest or Downtown Lynchburg. Breakfast was also provided (scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, bagels, muffins, toast, cereal, and milk). But the best feature of the facility was the friendliness, consideration, and helpfulness of the staff. Steve in particular was very knowledgeable about the area and gave helpful suggestions about where I could find groceries pertaining to my limited diet. He would later follow up with me which I found most considerate. Other staff where either quick to say hello, or respond to questions or offer assistance when needed. Because of the location and the staff, I can't recommend this place enough.

The only thing I didn’t like was the shower, everything else was great: the room, the service, the waffles at breakfast (so good). Will stay again!

The hotel did not charge a deposit to my credit card at check-in and allowed check-in after 3:00 p.m. The room was clean, and extra washcloths, towels, and tissues were provided upon request. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The side entrance did not work with the room key card after hours, which was inconvenient. The bed was comfortable, and the pillow was comfortable, although it was smaller than expected. There was a slight delay when using the TV remote control. The refrigerator kept drinks cold, the microwave heated food well, and the iron worked properly. The ironing board did not have any padding, which made ironing a little awkward, but it was still usable.

We were in a handicapped room. The commode was too low. The shower curtain had no liner and was at least a foot too short, allowing the floor to flood. The hall carpet was frayed, making it easy to trip.

Room was clean and the breakfast was ok. They could add a few more choices on the breakfast bar and they need to not overcook the sausages. Overall not a bad stay.
