Great location for Valley of rocks and Watersmeet walks. Excellent accommodation with everything we required plus little extras . Breakfast was exceptional. Hosts are great, helpful and knowledgeable. Advised to book evening meals which we were pleased with.

Our group of five stayed in three rooms at Southview Guesthouse in Lynton, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and genuinely friendly, making us feel at home right away. Our rooms were perfect, with separate beds that worked out really well for all of us. Breakfast was a real highlight—especially the famous fruit salad! I had spent a long time trying to find the right place to stay in the area, and I’m so glad we found Southview. It really made our visit special, and we’ll definitely be coming back when we are in the area.

Stayed one night with my mum, th hosts were super friendly and helpful. We had a family suite. Double room with ensuite which my mum slept in and a single room just off the side. The rooms were very light with a fabulous view from the bay window in the double. Breakfast was beautifully served and produced using quality ingredients. I would happily have stayed there for longer it was so friendly and comfortable.

We can highly recommend this BnB. Owners Penny & Drew were happy, helpful and excellent hosts. Our room had been freshly renovated & was beautiful. Breakfast was absolutely lovely .

South View Guest House was an absolute delight. From check in to check out, we were thoroughly looked after without being suffocated. Penny and Drew were such wonderful hosts. Both very knowledgable about the area and, my goodness, the breakfast was the best we’ve had on our mini adventures! My partner loved chatting with Drew and hearing all of his tips and recommendations for the area and Penny was wonderful upon check in, showing me everything I needed to know. We felt very welcomed, but also instantly at ease to enjoy our weekend away. Room was lovely, spotlessly clean and so reasonably priced! It was homely and comfortable. We are already looking at when we can return!
