We loved our stay at Ingleside. Julie and Martin are excellent hosts, really friendly and welcoming. Our room had a fantastic view across Lynton town to Exmoor Park, was really comfortable and clean and relaxing. We were served delicious cooked breakfasts and fresh coffee. The location is excellent - easy access to stunning walks along the coast, Valley of Rocks and Lee Bay. Lynton has a good choice of restaurants and cafés. Great value. Will definitely be back.

This was our 3rd year at Ingleside and it did not disappoint. Julie has recently taken ownership and was very accommodating. The rooms were spotlessly clean and we're topped up with fresh condiments/towels on a daily basis. Julie made homemade delicious cakes for guests every day which was much appreciated with a cuppa after a long walk. Breakfast was tasty with high quality produce. There are no negatives to report and can highly recommend this hotel. We will continue to visit on a yearly basis. Thank you to Julie and Ben who served our breakfast each morning with a smile.

Wonderful place to stay in Lynton and a great base for exploring Exmoor National Park. Julie, Martin, and Ben were so lovely and generous. They were very attentive to their guests and went out of their way to be helpful and to make sure that my stay was as comfortable as it could be. I was travelling to Lynton for a trail race, and I came in by public transport and was planning on walking to the race start (3 miles away), but they offerred to give me a ride instead and even came out on the race course to support me while I was running, which was so thoughtful and kind. They also brought bath salts to my room, so I could take a nice bath to recover afterwards. There were so many thoughtful, personal touches in the Ingleside. Julie bakes delicious fresh desserts every day and has them out in the communal sitting room for guests to enjoy, which was something I really looked forward to when I returned in the evening every day. Instead of having shelf stable milk in the rooms, they brought a thermos of fresh milk to my room every day. The room itself was very comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. It had nice big windows to enjoy the view. The pillows, blankets, linens, mattress, and bath towels were soft, fluffy, and very comfortable. I highly recommend the Ingelside, and I will be going back there myself on my next visit to Lynton.

Our first visit to Lynton/Lynmouth, and what a beautiful place with lovely walks on the doorstep. The Ingleside also didn't disappoint. A wonderful welcome by Julie and Martin and very cheerful breakfast service by Ben. We had a premium room (8) with gorgeous views. Although the shower room was small, the room overall was large and well appointed. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of choice, good quality ingredients and very well cooked. It's the little touches that count, we loved the daily home made cakes that Julie supplied in the lounge, and nothing was too much trouble. We were also able to check out the other rooms, and every one was lovely, my favourite being No.12. The drive to the property is the only negative. Although there is plenty of parking onsite, the hotel is situated on quite a steep hill (hence the views) and turning into the property was a bit of a challenge. Despite this, I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel, Julie and Martin will guarantee you a very warm welcome.

Julie and Martin were brilliant hosts - they were friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were gorgeous, and had lovely views - we enjoyed coffee on the balcony which was a real treat. Breakfast was excellent, pre-ordered the night before. It was lovely to have space to sit with family and friends in the beautiful lounge / Evan nicer that we could sit and enjoy home made cake. We will definitely be regular visitors to Julie and Martin at Ingleside.

We absolutely loved it, very friendly and welcoming hosts, Diane was lovely, they went out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast was out of this world, cooked to perfection, and one of the best breakfasts, we have had. The house was lovely ,with amazing views, and a lovely seating area out side, which we made good use of. Always plenty of milk, biscuits, and supplies in the room, which was replenished daily.we can't wait to come back, such a lovely place to visit Thankyou

Our stay was excellent, the room was large and extremely clean. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection available and homemade jam. It was a central location with parking. Highly recommend.
