Wonderful place to stay in Lynton and a great base for exploring Exmoor National Park. Julie, Martin, and Ben were so lovely and generous. They were very attentive to their guests and went out of their way to be helpful and to make sure that my stay was as comfortable as it could be. I was travelling to Lynton for a trail race, and I came in by public transport and was planning on walking to the race start (3 miles away), but they offerred to give me a ride instead and even came out on the race course to support me while I was running, which was so thoughtful and kind. They also brought bath salts to my room, so I could take a nice bath to recover afterwards. There were so many thoughtful, personal touches in the Ingleside. Julie bakes delicious fresh desserts every day and has them out in the communal sitting room for guests to enjoy, which was something I really looked forward to when I returned in the evening every day. Instead of having shelf stable milk in the rooms, they brought a thermos of fresh milk to my room every day. The room itself was very comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated. It had nice big windows to enjoy the view. The pillows, blankets, linens, mattress, and bath towels were soft, fluffy, and very comfortable. I highly recommend the Ingelside, and I will be going back there myself on my next visit to Lynton.
