MIDHURSTMOODYBLUES
My wife and I have just got back from a 4 night stay at the Sinai Hotel which was the second and final part of holiday in the South West. Just brilliant from the moment we were greeted by Alision. We had decided to have the room on the second floorthat had an ensuite includng a bath. (room 9) with fabulous views across Lynton and Lynmouth coast. Very comfortable bed and good quality bed linen and pillows. The towels were nice and fluffy and also included a bath towel which some places do not do. Varied selection of hot drinks are avaiable with biscuits, a small piece of chocolate, and a bottle of water which are replensished each day if used. Fresh milk is available each day to use for in room hot drinks. There is a bar that has a good suffient selection of spirits, beers, wine etc... which you record providing the date, name and room number so that their cost is added to the end of the stay. a nice spacious lounge leading to a balcony that you can use to look over Lynton, and Lynmouth. The breakfasts are served in a very nice room with an excellent a wide selection of hot and cold options. I had each day fresh fruits and yoghurt which included over the 4 days, slices of watermelon, melon, pear, strawberries, blue berries, pineapple, raspberries, and grapes. There are many other options to have plis a breakfast buffet that has fresh fuit juices. The cooked breakfasts which include the normal breakfast items also have options for example scramble eggs and salmon, kippers, smoked haddock, poached eggs etc. there are vegetarian option and dietry options such as gluten free appear to be available. All the breakfasts were great cooked by Alision's husband Victor. Very good quality caffetterie coffee. My wife had peppermint tea. You order your breakfasts in advance the night before on sheets that are in your room each day. We have no issue with that. Breakfasts are served promptly with a smile, and a chat, and are relaxed. You do not fee rushed at all. Whie staying at Sinai we took advantage of two evening platters including a bottle of red wine. One was a wide selection of cold meets, cheeses and bread, the other a Greek oriented platter including pitta bread, home made dips, filo pastry taetlets with spinach and cheese filling, a bowl of feta cheese, salad .... all delicious. There was too much especially the greek platter. Another guest also said the same about the greek platter. The hotel / bed and breakfast is located in central Lynton up a hill hence the great views. The entrance is a bit tight to turn in and out, but in all not an issue. Parking is directly outside the property. Very peaceful location. You can easiy walk to the many restuarants, and attractions in Lynton if you do not mind a slight incline but that is the area as they say comes with the territory. In addition to the normal tourist like ourselves there are guests who are walking along sections of the South West coastal path. Everybody we spoke to durng our stay stated how they
