We had room 23 “the artistic room” and we had a beautiful view over the castles garden and lovely staff who helped us. We also dined in restaurant L’etoile which had a very apatizing French cuisine, and had a wonderfull time here. Will definitely be staying here again when traveling to Maastricht!

I was here with a friend. The staff was very friendly and make you feel right at home. The room was very original and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The food was not expensive, but perfect.

My travel plans changed due to post-pandemic situations. The staff was very prompt and courteous regarding my questions, concerns, and changes. I have not been to the hotel yet in person, but I can certainly recommend the hotel simply based upon its service.

Excellent service by enthusiastic first year students. Nice place to stay. Very good breakfast in the lovely garden made it complete. Only minor downside: the room (nr. 1) started showing some wear and tear. Next time in Maastricht I would certainly book this hotel again!

Totally in love with our room and the surroundings of the castle. The design of our room is original. It's spacious and we have everything we need. The bed is super comfy as well. We did not try the restaurant as the menu was quite limited at the time we stay. But we enjoyed drinks in the terrace, very relaxing view to the pond. All the staffs were very friendly and always willing to help. It was an excellent long weekend stay.

Pros: - Very friendly and helpful staff. - Very fast internet. - Very quiet at night. - Very clean Lease: - Electric charging point for guests blocked by hotel vehicle. - No air conditioning - Night concierge only English speaking. - Bar closed from 11pm Annoying / negative: - No closet available, only 3 double hooks with 5 plastic hangers. - In the bathroom only 3 small hooks for hanging the towels, 1 of which was occupied by a sack with the hair dryer. - Not enough storage space - Only blackout curtains, no daytime curtains. Everything is either open to view or closed. - Room safe is attached to a wooden substructure with tension belts. - Partially detached wallpaper. A matter of taste: (The rating is in personal consideration) - Cold train station atmosphere in the bathroom, due to the lighting with neon tubes. - Dated living atmosphere in the sleeping area with surface-mounted heating pipes, carpeted floors and yellowish ceiling lighting

Zeer prettig ingerichte kamer. Goed verzorgd en schoon. Bed redelijk hard maar prima geslapen. Heerlijk bad én douche. Ondanks de volle bezetting van het hotel was het echt rustig. Goed verzorgd ontbijt. Het is een teaching hotel gerund door eerstejaars studenten. Ze doen dit vol passie en dat is goed te merken. Er kan wel eens iets fout gaan maar ze gaan meteen voor een oplossing.

Prachtig kasteel met rustige kamers en goede bedden. Wij hadden deze keer geopteerd voor de "luxe" 2-persoonskamer, maar deze optie is echt de meerprijs niet waard. Wij kregen de "groene" kamer toegewezen, een onpraktisch ingerichte kamer met een steile trap van het toilet naar het bed, weinig verlichting en geen enkele kast of mogelijkheid om je spullen te leggen. Volgende keer terug een "gewone" kamer. Overigens is het restaurant nog steeds uitstekend en zijn de studenten vriendelijke en behulpzaam.

Heerlijk weekendje in dit mooie hotel mogen verblijven met mijn vriendin. Personeel is heel erg gastvrij en de kamers zijn heel erg uniek. Doordat er zoveel verschillende zijn wil je weer boeken om te kijken wat voor avontuur er op je wacht!
